why did it matter if he moved to Earth?

The crucible was going to do nothing from the endings given, so why even bring the citadel to Earth?


The AI star child god thing makes zero sense (especially if you consider any of ME1's plot).




I'm dead serious when I say this, but did the writers just get tired of writing story so they just threw this in in hopes to tie everything together?
