I've played ME since the beginning. Kaidan was my LI in ME1 and I was pretty ticked off that he wasn't in ME2. But, BW promised he'd be brought back in ME3, so I kept going. Get to ME3 and he's there but I was expecting more interaction. An assumption on my part, granted, but I got some of that from the promos BW/EA put out:

“Along the way, your choices drive powerful outcomes, including
relationships with key characters, the fate of entire civilizations, and
even radically different ending scenarios.”"

Sidestepping the 'radically different ending scenarios' (which didn't happen), I thought that meant there'd be more LI interaction. Then I discovered that Kaidan was the ONLY male I could have as LI. (Unless I chose Garrus in past games.) REALLY???  No Thane, no Jacob. James was an obvious LI choice. Why wasn't he available? What the heck happened?

My husband laughed and said that guys love girl/girl action and that's why there's so many lesbian options for femShep. Maybe he's right. Or maybe BW doesn't really give a damn about female gamers?

Why are people fixated with Vega as a romance-able character?

Believe it or not, not all men fall in love with FemShep, for one reason or another << Just like how not all women fall in love with MShep, either.

Also, him not being a LI keeps him in the "cool friend" area as opposed to "designed to be attractive" and/or "someone thrown in the alst game so FShep can get some play"

Naww... I don't think that they don't care for female gamers, sort of believe it got like this because they didn't look at how it added up. The Kaidan romance was wonderful, they wouldn't give us something as good as that if they didn't care for FemShep. Just hope that if there is some new char or LI being introduced into the game it won't be yet another bi female, (dlc or something, strictly hypothetical).

Hmm... guess I see it a little like a early warning system, canaries in the coalmine. When I think something is out of whack I chirp here on the forum so that it can be noticed. Well, like they picked up on Gabby and Ken only having banter if you have Ash. Would be really happy if that ended up in a patch since I always save Kaidan.

Now, if we keep getting more females, then I'll upgrade from chirping to headbutting. In a pink-krogan-costume.

I can't believe it either! I'm just so disappointed. Even just on pure numbers there are MUCH more straight females than lesbians, so why do lesbians get 4 options but straight females get at most 2 (Garrus, who is nice but an ugly alien lol, and newly bisexual Kaiden)??? Not to mention straight male Sheps get EIGHT!!

Talk about feeling unwanted!
