Grunt is like Shepard's kid. S/he has known him since he was born.

I was about to reload and let the queen die until Grunt strolled out covered in blood, because while I like the rachni, Grunt is family. He's clan. I wont be responsible for his death.

I nearly had a panic attack when Grunt stayed behind and was like 'Dammit, gimme the option to go back and save Grunt! I need him!!!'

and then he comes back covered in blood and I was so happy I fan-girl screamed in the privacy of my own dorm, then proceeded to find something to blow up so I stopped feeling so girly.

I was going to dashboard to re-do that mission lol until I seen him walk out....like a boss...

 Grunt is my boy.  I would take 1 grunt over an entire race of bugs. I also was going to reload, and actually felt dirty ordering him to hold the line.

I am a bad parent.

Same here. Shep kinda birthed him. If birthing can be having an AI open the tank, but Shep is basically there his, what, first year alive? Teaching him what type of person to be?

I think after Shep's influence Grunt doesn't seem the type to start needless wars. He'd start needless fights but he'd know better than the wars
