Ok so all Biological life is now partially synthetic and vice versa for for synthetic life. I also noticed plants where partially synthetic as well. Does that mean mictobes are also synthetic, what about the elements themselves does silicon have little bits of carbon in them, because otherwise what is stopping a future synthetic/organic hybrid race from creating a brand new purely synthetic creature?

I shall once again quote Rannoch Reaper: "It is not a thing you can comprehend." It's just magic, man.

MAGIC! But no seriously there's no explanation that would justify an ending like this, it was to create the illusion of choice, the three endings are identical and all suck.

What? Imposing a machine fusion onto trillions of sentient beings without their knowledge or consent at the behest of a know-it-all genocidal psychopath? Perfectly reasonable, man. You just hatin'

It's because it doesn't make sense is why.

A magical green beam that works on all organic physiology in the galaxy magically turns everything into cyborgs.

The writers were smoking crack when they thought up of that.

Organic means carbon based life.  Synthetic usually means silicon and other non-organic components.  Meaning yes all the way down to bacteria and virus everything is now some kind of carbon/non-carbon chain life form.  It doesn't go down to the atomic level though.

You are right about the plot hole too.  There is still straight carbon and silicon out there and the Galaxy will start making normal organic life on other planets as well.

So what's stopping the borg ( because that is what they are now) from developing a purely synthetic being. And you thought peta was annoying now just wait until they realize the rocks themselves are now alive.

I'd like to think everyone's reaction was:  "This is... It's green?"

Oh yes and even if elements whatever have organic components, you could still build a robot. Then give that robot an AI. Then that AI becomes self aware and tries to kill you because you're only 50% synthetic and it's 95% or something. Then ROBOT APOCALYPSE AMG.

At least Control and Destroy make some sense in that it's sending a signal to Reapers and potentially tech based on Reapers. Synthesis doesn't make much sense at all. That same signal (it's just a different color) can rewrite all organic life, even when it has no mechanical parts? I think I'd prefer the really cliche "I win gun" to something that doesn't even make sense.  I'm sorry, Bioware, but there are too many parts of the endings that just don't even logically work.

I know I keep bringing this up but think about this: the Reapers are the only reason any of the AI in the game actively attack human beings, otherwise, they just want to be left alone, and yet we take the Catalyst on its word.

I know, I know, I keep saying it, but it's a good point damn it, and it's one of the more glaring issues with Starchild.

No you see it's because it turns Shepard into goop, copies what it sifts through and uses that as a template! Because it couldn't... take a sample.. or at least take a leg or something... and it works on plants too because Shepard is... not.. a plant OH MY GOD I CAN'T TAKE THE STUPID ANYMORE!

ANd because humans are so similiar to the colus and hanar and other aliens that we could just use our genetic template for theirs.
