I have a feeling deep down that this is kind of like the Fall Out 3 citation. Such a large grouping of fan were so incensed about the ending that it got ret coned it in a DLC.
I have a feeling in my gut this wantis going to happen and were all going to pay 10 dollars so we can get are happy ending.

As much as I hate the ending, I still have faith in bioware writers. Most of the time they delivers so there must be a real ending but they're not telling until everyone's done with the game.

The game hasnt even released yet in Japan, it will release the 15th. I'm quite sure Bioware isnt going to give us the ending untill atleast global release.

Which makes no sense. The should use this backlash and correct it before more people get pissed off. I really don't want my bros in Japan feeling what I felt after that horrificly writen end.Smiley556 wrote...

as good as the rest of the game are I still think Mass effect 3 feels rushed. Especially towards the end, and it probably has something to do with EA breathing down BW's neck about the dead line. They did that with Dragon Age 2 and look at the backlash it got.
What a colossal failure of a company EA is.

One was saying they are going to wait and assess before making an official statement.
The other was something about a grand plan and how they had great ideas. (Ive had just about enough of any "great ideas" personally. Like the ending.)

Indoctrination(dream) after getting hit by the reapers laser is flooding the forums and from thinking about it and all the evidence it might be true. they were teasing indoctrination thoughout the whole game(remember the geth interface how shep would imagine things like the gun), and then the kid in all the dreams ends up as the catylist, shep not wearing his armor when he gets up, gun not running out of ammo, anderson ahead of shep, the tim ending up just like saren, and in only one "ending" shep wakes up in rubble on earth(my assumption). it just seems to add up into a dream(indocrination). and if im right what a brilliant freaking ending.
The more I think about this the more it rings true to me.

Indeed, and not just from a writing standpoint. Look at the incredible amount of bugs and glitches throughout the game. It isn't all exactly gamebreaking stuff (except for instances of multiplater) but it can really take you out of the zone. People are always looking the wrong way during dialogue, enemies glitch out (I've noticed several Cerberus operatives walking in the sky), people get frozen in place during multiplayer, import problems (BioWare even poked fun at ME2's import problems in this game, Conrad Vernor ring any bells? And yet...) and the list surely continues. I love this game (well, until the final five minutes or so) and had an incredible amount of fun playing it, but I think a rather large patch should be expected.

This makes sense. It absolutely makes sense!!! Since Shep main attrtibute was his Will, Reapers tried to break it by allowing him to think he completed the mission!

To be honest, all the crap I've been giving Bioware, they do look out for fans. Besides the ending, the entire game felt like a tribute to those who had played the other games. So while no word has come yet, I have no doubt that they will either accomidate the complaints, or at very least apologize and explain why it ended like it did.
So Bioware, I apologize for my harsh words, but I still won't be purchasing anything else unless I see that loyality does still matter more than profits.

There have been some random Twitter feeds. But, to be fair, they would want to avoid saying too much before they have had a chance to discuss matters as a team. A random mod or dev saying something that could be construed as a promise or dismissal would be a really bad move. They will say something eventually, but let's give them some time. Some poor intern is reading and sifting through all of this. Let's try to be fair.
Yeah, I kinda feel bad for whoever has to wade through the sea of all the nerdrage.

I just assumed his armor got damaged and/or blownup and ripped apart from the shockwave of the laser ripping the ground apart.
