So 10 minutes ago I beat Mass Effect 3 for the first time. I chose to destroy the reapers even though I play entierly paragon I wasn't about to let the reapers survive and I thought my shepard was supposed to survive (i had over 500 EMS but still didn't see the armor breathing scene).
There were two things that stuck out to me more than anything else after watching the ending. First is a common one, something a lot of people are talking about, the fact that the normandy was flying through the mass relay while a battle was going on all around them. Its not like Joker to just abandon everything like that.
Second was the fact that after we see the crucible dock with the citadel we see shepard near death, bleeding everywhere, too weak to even complete full sentences let alone stand up. Then next thing I know I'm wisked up to the top of the citadel without a helmet and can make one of the three terrible decisions up there.
Now it is right here that I believe this hallucination or dream theory begins. Everything up to this point seems logical at least somewhat. But i think that the only reason Joker would be leaving in such a hurry with ashley (my love interest who was in my squad when i went into the beam) is because shepard is on board unconsious. I'm guessing that when the crucible docked with the citadel shepard loses consiousness, something happens that sets off the blast and the normandy swoops in grabs the crew and takes off at mach 10.
This is just my idea and honestly there are a few holes in it I know but its the only way i can think of that would make a bleeding to death shepard suddenly okay enough to take a stroll around the citadel talking to some see through kid. IDK just what I think and am hoping for.
Just beat the game

Mine was suppose to survive too, but I haven't seen the scene either. I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

ya i thought if you had over 5000 EMS you would see it whether or not anderson dies... I'm gonna try it again today and save andersone and see what happens

oh believe me i know and i agree... but i still have hope that this wasn't everything, I'm keepin my fingers crossed for the hallucination idea... i mean there has to be more, so I just want to get to the point where we see Shepard breathe
