Saved Game Inaccessible for DAYS Now Because From Ashes Not Accessible

 I'm beginning to get annoyed now.

Two days ago I purchased both the Argus Rifle and From Ashes add ons. The page that shows my downloadable content displays both of those with a "View Details" link and no download link, while an Online Pass entry displays just a line through, which I assume is correct if that has to be ordered on its own.

I got the Argus activation in-game. I have checked in several areas for From Ashes, all of which verify that I am licensed to receive this content but this is now the second day and probably the 10th attempt to start the game in which the content has been unable to authorize. Prior to today, I was still able to load my saved game that was in progress prior to my buying From Ashes.

The install instructions implied that I was supposed to have manually downloaded this and run a setup program, but I was never able to. Origin says its already installed and the in-game access point pops up the box saying I own it.

Now however, I am getting messages repeatedly that this content is inaccessible, and so my save game cannot be loaded. What the hell is going on here?! I have to try multiple times to connect to the EA servers, despite maybe having two failure to do so in the entire time I have owned the previous two games. I have had no problems doing so up until I bought this content, but now that I have, I supposedly can't connect, or lose the connection. To make matters worse, a few minutes ago it said I WAS connected at the bottom of the monitor screen and yet three times it told me it could not authorize From Ashes so it could not start.

Is anyone else having problems like this? What a waste of the time I've spent playing if I can't access From Ashes, and also can't uninstall or reinstall it because there was no manual install in the first place. :mellow:

You might try looking in the ME3 directory and finding the DLC folder. You could try deleting the From Ashes folder and then restarting Origin to see if it will redownload.

I got it working though by going into My Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\Config and deleting the OnlineProfile.profile file then restarting Origin. Perhaps it clears out some kind of server cache that prevents the connection on account of it being outdated or something but, it worked.

I see a ton of people had this problem so hopefully they will see my thread here and try this!
