I got very sad over the endings that are in ME3, All experince with all the crew members and romance option in the game seems now after ending the game a total waste of time. I romance Tali in both 2 and 3, and some of the scene was very good, and then to get the ending that i will never see her again, and allmost to 100% die in the end. is that a good ending for a story that spend 3 games, what the hell did you think of? at LEAST one ending should be done with a very happy ending, I like that there are so many ending, but at least ONE should be good. You have destroyed the fun to play the game over again. if I at least know it is a good ending, that inspire to play the whole serie again to make sure you get that happy ending. you killed that.

so..romance are not waste in ME 3..but in the whole game serie now...

can't belive you didnt make at least one good ending......Posted ImagePosted Image

I'm not a fan of the endings, but come on. By that logic getting married is a waste of time because we all die anyways. I hope they rectify the endings, and the fans on pretty much every site that has a ME3 forum aren't letting up any time soon, so we'll see.

The endings of this game make every single thing you have done since day 1 a waste of time. Why would anyone replay this game or go back and revisit previous titles knowing that everything you did was a huge waste of time. You lose in the end no matter what.. seriously.. who would possibly be happy with that?

Marriage is not a waste of time if we die eventually.
Marriage would be a waste of time if tomorrow the Earth exploded.

Hell no. I'm still grinning like an idiot whenever I think about Shep and Garrus having a Hollywood kiss on top of the Presidium.
Totally worth it. I'm denying the Normandy's fate anyway.

The game should have at least one truly "good" ending, where Shepard gets out of there, on the Normandy and gets to embrace his LI. Not this barely breathing in the rubble "perfect" ending.

Is that what happens when you romance him or something?

But you had 3 games with most of the characters, 2 for some. So it wasn't like it was overnight or anything.

All pointless. The galaxy exploded because Shepard gave up. None of it matters.

The endings certainly destroy a lot of replay value for some of us, if not all of it. But I don't regret the things I did leading up to that ending. I still had one of the most vivid and exciting gaming experiences of my life, and seeing my Shepard and Liara finally have their moment in ME3 was very satisfying.

As for the endings, yes, I would have loved to see Shepard and Liara live happily ever after. It absolutely doesn't have to be THE ending, but why couldn't it have been AN ending? I'm still feeling so defeated by this.

I was actually about to say the same thing. Technically any relationship would be a waste of time if you think that way, because everyone will die eventually.

Yep. When he takes you to shoot stuff on top of the Presidium, he asks a romanced FemShep if she wants a long-term relationship, and when she says yes he grabs her, leans her back and kisses her. It's cheesy and adorable as hell.

And that isn't even the "perfect" ending since EDI and the Geth die.  I guess synergy is supposed to be that since it let's organics and humans live together, though it still sacrifices Shepard and the Normandy is still stranded on planet nowhere.

Not only do I have to leave my LI Tali behind after that awesome conversation at the end, but she doesn't even get to live on Rannoch.

That is awesome.  Mostly becaus Garrus is awesome enough to pull it off.

I'm equal parts puzzled and disappointed by the lack of a happily ever after ending. People have been mockingly calling it the "little blue babies" ending, but they forget those are the exact words of Shepard if you romanced Liara in the Shadow Broker DLC. The expectation for such an ending didn't exactly come out of nowhere.

But see, you know for sure it will end it colossal failure. Not later, not some day. But now.
And it will end because Shepard chose to give up and settle for the resident genocidal maniac's demands.

Our LIs will end up stranded on a jungle planet. The galaxy will burn. Shep will die alone.

In my canon, Ash is pregnant (if the reaper kid's inferrance is to be believed) and later has children. He also saved almost everyone that served under him across the past 3 games (Everyone except Mordin, Thane, Miranda, and Garrus).

So the Romance was worth that...

The Talimance was one part I actually enjoyed -- every scene on Rannoch was incredibly good.

Of course I'm in the 'it's all a dream' camp, so my story is forever stuck at Shep gasping for breath followed by Tali pulling him to saftey as Garrus and Ash provide covering fire. For those that take it at face value, it is rather bleak.

On the one hand... I desperately want to see this.

On the other... I'm not sure I can summon the will to play through ME3 again. Even if it's for Garrus.

Hmm... if I play a Nova Vanguard on Narrative mode ... nope... still can't do it.

Ahh but see that depends on the ending. My squad/LI died crashing on that jungle planet, so they aren't alone anymore. They only live if you have a higher rating, which I did not have. :P

My Shep supposed to live with Garrus happily ever after when everything is over.
and now? Shep is dead or almost-dead buried in rubble. Her Garrus might be dead because of starvation after Normandy crew stranded on weird planet.
What an amazing way to screw everything up, BW.

I fully planned a playthrough for Liara, for Kaidan and for Garrus as LIs.
You can imagine what's become of that plan now. :(

It's depressing how much the ending completely ruins the whole experience.

I'm really sorry. *hugs*

In a way I'm happy that the endings make no sense. Sooo much easier to headcanon the whole damn thing.
