After Priority:  Citadel 2, I am making decisions in certain conversations that are only awarding Renegade points. 

Here are two examples of my issue:
  1)  When talking to Ashley about her sister and the memorial wall, I initially chose the upper right option.  I was then awarded Renegade points instead of Paragon.  I reloaded to perform the fonversation again, and chose the lower right option.  I was then again awarded Renegade points.  There were only 2 conversation options.
  2)  When talking to Jacob in the hospital, I was awarded Renegade points for just talking to him.

This situation leaves me with a few questions about this issue:
  1)  Am I already maxxed out in Paragon and can only get Renegade now?
  2)  Are those conversations, (and others), programmed to reward Renegade points no matter what?  If so, how can one complete them while trying to stay 100% Paragon?
  3)  Is this just bugged, and the game system is malfunctioning?



Any response from Bioware and non-Bioware people would be appreciated.  Thanks!

There is no max paragon, it is probably a glitch. It doesnt matter too much anyway, since they add your renegade + paragon points to get Influence points which affect your choices. It only matters if you want a 100% paragon goodie-goodie Shep playthrough.

That's what I'm shooting for, and I'm okay with it, as long as it doesn't change the ending because I have too much Renegade.

... no you don't have to worry about that changing the ending.

One thing that I think could possibly be happening, is that when I had the option from the terminal near the drone in Liara's lab to "heal all my implant scars" (even though I did that in ME2), I chose the increased health option instead. I'm still allowed to make Paragon choices and get Paragon results; maybe the game is giving me Renegade points to bring the scars/corruption back to my face, just for the aesthetic facial effect.

Or, it could just be bugged. (Like how I just realized that I never received "From Ashes" content, and had to redownload it to access it. I'm also guessing that I'm approximately 75% done with the campaign, btw).
