same applies to the council, they were suppose to be dead in me1, but they appeared in me3.
i saved the ascension, but i'm sure it'll appear in final too.

Also, Kelly survived my ME2 playthrough and she was literally not mentioned or acknowledged whatsoever in ME3 (save for some crew dialogue about Traynor being "the new Yeoman"). I thought this was simply the case for everyone, but is it not?

So if the dialog is wrong in ME3 about her origins, then I can see the problem, but she clearly wasn't the last Rachni left even in ME1.

A whole bunch of mission involving the Rachni spring up in ME1 outside of Noveria, including some in a Cerberus base.
Um, yeah, all those rachni were her children. Someone sold them to Cerberus, and they got loose. But they were just a bunch of workers and such. They weren't able to breed.

Well, there were clearly males(drones) alive, and the only difference between a 'worker' bee and a queen bee is whether they are fed a special jelly when they are young. I don't think it is entirely out of question that Cerberus managed to develop a queen during those 2 years that Shepard was "dead".

With a galactic war going on, I can careless about Conrad and even Kelly.
However... WHERE ARE MY FISH! I found my Models misplaced all over the Normandy! My fishes however are NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!
I need them to help with galactic war stress!
No, the Space Mouse I found aint the same as my fish! Darn you Bioware!

Well, if you don't mind the spoiler.... Kelly does give you your fish back. She was keeping them safe for you.

even if you killed her in me1, 'magically - like every other thing in me3- she's alive in a mission.

The Reapers hatched their own rachni queen if you let yours die. Shouldn't be two hard for them to do since it was pretty strongly implied in ME2 (if you freed the queen) that they'd indoctrinated them which is what caused them to launch their initial invasion. Also it turns out they're pretty darned old having survived the last reaper apocalyse, so plenty of opportunity for them to put one on ice just in case.
If the council died in ME1 you have a new council in ME3. They boycotted Shepard in ME2 which is why you don't see them in the second story.

^^^ This is why you shouldn't bother. Aside from war assets, nothing on the Citadel matters because the ALL die by the finale. With no warning or buildup. Awesome.
