My hunch is Synthesis, considering that no matter what you do, by taking all the good choices you end up around ~3085 effective score with 50% galactic readiness.
And that at least doesn't murder off all AI-based lifeforms in the world.
Wait, so which one is the "best ending", according to Bioware?

Honestly... I don't think bioware knew what they were doing and just pulled the choices out of their asses.

I plan on asking a writer on twitter tommorow. Eagerly await the answer.

the perfect ending is the one
1:the navy held its flank in the battle and a alliance dreadnought destroyed one of the reapers in the space fight (cinematic)
2: Cortex survives the hit
3:choosing synthesis

I'm not sure how Destroy would be a "happy ending", you'd end up killing the Geth and EDI, and doesn't even help on the long run.
That's just evil.

Of the ones they provided: destroy, the only one with a bonus cutscene that provides the slightest bit of closure over the others.
Ideally: Shepard says screw you to the god child, he tells Hackett that it's not going to work, and because we took the time to unite the entire galaxy throughout the trilogy the reapers are beaten through conventional means, though most everything lies in ruin.

Pretty sure that "Best seats in the house" w/ Anderson -> Destruction w/ Earth living -> Shepard lives is supposed to be the best.
If I'm wrong and Synthesis is supposed to be the best, however, I wouldn't even consider it. In my opinion, its way too BS and bizarre and it feels completely out of place to me. Then again, it's only slightly worse than the others.

The best ending is the one where you swipe your credit card and give them $70 for the ME3 CE.
It happens very fast so you may have missed it.

I want to say Synthesis because Stargazer seems to hint that the future was a bright one.

The Stargazer scene isn't just exclusive to the Synthesis. Ultimitely, the Destroy Ending is the best ending, because obviously every other ending has the Reapers survive.
To go with the populer and undeniable theroy, Shepard is being controlled by Harbinger. In the Destroy Ending, Shepard breaks through and wakes up in London.
