I'm usually not one to make complaints on forums about developer's decisions on how to make their games, but this is ridiculous.
Did you suck so bad at making The Old Republic that it seeped over into the ME3 dev team, Bioware?
Did the money you allocated to adding multiplayer actually detract from the single player?
Because the endings sure seem to indicate an extreme lack of effort, or that you had a sudden mass exodus of anyone talented in narrative design, or that you didn't put enough effort or resources into it.
I loved this series. I loved the characters, the stories, the interactions, the combat, the universe. Even the majority of ME3 was brilliant. And then it was all ruined in 10 minutes of stupid. I almost didn't even finish the game simply because I didn't care about any of the options.
Sad to say it, but this will make me heavily debate purchasing any kind of Bioware game in the future. If your goal was to completely ****** off 90% of your most loyal fans, Bioware, you succeded, as far as I can tell.
All that goodwill from 100+ hours of playtime squandered in 10 minutes of laziness

Welcome to that sinking feeling alot are having. An epic, emotional trilogy completely cut down at what was supposed to be it's final conclusion.

You aren't the first to be upset with the endings, and you won't be the last.
That said, part of your post could be the root of the problem.
The game is so spectacular until the ending, I wonder if devoting the extra resources to multiplayer did in fact detract from the ending? Feels like they ran out of time to me.

All I really wanted was some ending where I could be with the character I romanced. I went through just about every option in my head before I looked up and realized all the endings resulted in Shepard's death.
I was seriously considering picking the first option, to wipe out all synthetics, if it meant I got to go back and have a real ending. BUT NOPE.
Also, I am usually INCREDIBLY loathe to the "MP detracted from SP" theory, but I honestly don't believe anyone at Bioware could have LIKED these endings and still consider themselves not ****s or inhuman, so I'm at a loss.

There are so many loose ends. For one thing, why was Harbinger making a human shaped Reaper even though the Reapers made from all the other races all looked the same? I just feel like the game should have popped up a message saying switch to 2nd disc to continue.
