Ahh okay I see what you mean so if I get Readiness at 100% then my EMS will be the same as TMS?
Yeah, I guess. The military strength/galaxy readiness system is a one big mess though and we simply don't fully know how it works yet.
Okay... man this whole system is a mess. Really needs to be explained in-game more. Also my EMS "green bar" is full but I'm only at 3525 EMS so that can't be right..
Wouldn't be possible to explain it in game other than maybe via a codex or a tutorial page, can't have characters talking about it because it's not something they could explain, closest you get to it is asking Hackett how we're doing. As for it being full, with that much EMS that you have, you can basically get all of the main endings (apart from 1) which I'll explain below the following quote...

Err... the green ending is easily achieveable.
It's the Red/Shep Alive ending that is harder to get as you need either 4000 (if manage to stop TIM killing Anderson) or 5000 (if don't stop him)
