Hi guys,
I'm kinda interested what did you do after playing through the game?
Yesterday
For me I felt a huge powerful urge to voice my opinion about the ending and i was not alone. It felt totally like that Bioware+EA are the reapers and we every players through the planet unitedly voiceng their opinion.
Anyway after that I wanted to write a fanfic about an ending that I preffered it was already sort of illogical why not write a totally senseless ending.
and I wanted to watch a movie a sci-fi something about future space etc. the first thing that I grabbed from the shelves was Star trek so I watched it yesterday.
Today
I tried my hands on the multi I liked it I liked there was no story just shoot em I felt refreshed and now I 'm starting from the begining again the very begining the first game the one that made me fall in love with the whole series
so tell me what did you do?
what did you do after playing it through?

I just finished around 5 hours ago. Beforehand, I had heard about the bad endings and was all hopeful that the hearsay was wrong. Of course, that didn't happen, so I came here to see what others thought.

I complained with a friend of mine. Worked out the implications of what happened. Realised the whole galaxy is doomed now without the Relays.
She tried to play from 1 today. She couldn't. She can't take the reapers seriously as a threat anymore. She just sees a bunch of insane robot space ships who've got no clue what they're doing or talking about. Who have some serious meglomania issues.
I just went to sleep. Woke up. And decided that in my life, it's not a huge deal. It sucks. But all i can do is forget about it and move on to something better.
I also had a shot at playing 1. Couldn't do it. Tried 2, same sorta feeling. Same with 3. I just can't, having seen the ending. I can't bring myself to bother.

I imported my ME3 character and started another playthrough with the hopes it might actually mean something someday.

i listened to the soundtrack (particularly "an end once and for all") and i started drawing. i'm going to make my own ending if BW doesn't do it for me.

I knew about the endings but I was still completely crushed.
I went on BSN and cried my eyes out in the Garrus thread. Got comforted.
Then I decided that the whole Normandy getting stranded made no sense whatsoever and that my goal in my next playthrough was to save my Shep. I got attached to that little b*tch. I want her to live.
So right now I'm playing again with her. And saving her ass.

Finished the game, scratched my head, failing to understand what had just happened to the last 15 minutes of the game... Turned up the credits music while I fetched a bottle of Jaegermeister and a shot glass... Just woke up this morning o.0

Wept a bit, realized I have wasted five years loving this game and that I am never going to be able to play it again.

Went straight to the forums to see what everyone else's opinion was since none of my friends have finished the game yet.

I wandered around going "what?". Then I realized that the experience ruined my favorite games for me. And since then I've spent most of my time on here.

I started throwing up because the endings made so little sense that it actually made the logic part of my brain tell my stomach to hurl every bit of sea food out of my digestive system.

I had a good, long talk with my dad who is a doctor and has some knowledge of psychological help.
No joke.
He plays video games as well and has an idea of what the Mass Effect story was about. We spoke about the feelings of emptiness and betrayal that the ending induced. I feel a bit better now, and will probably play through the game again hoping all my invested time will some day mean something.

Texted a buddy of mine and told him he'd better enjoy the 99% of the game that comes before the end.

I went to the forums afterwards to read the threads, to realise I wasn't the only one who felt betrayed and angry. Pretty much just looked at the forums all day, complaining about it to my family even though none of them even play videogames and called me silly for being upset about one. xD
Warned my best friend about the ending. I'm playing the multiplayer now, while checking the forums every now and then, hoping for news.

I'm quoting this because how true this is for me aswell. Everything's for me at this point ruined. So much time wasted. I just feel so empty and see no reason to why i should play any of the ME games anymore

I played through spoiler free but was aware of the overwhelming negative response to the endings. Thought people were overreacting. Turns out they weren't at all. I felt betrayed. My Shepard was made into a flaming ooc and I had no say in it. Just stared at the screen in denial while the credits rolled. Then all of a sudden here comes Grandpa to pour more salt in the wound. Luckily, the majority of this community felt the same or I'd feel even more beat up over this.
