Voiced my opinion on the board for a while, tried to start a NG+, played MP with some friends instead, now looking for coalesced.ini tweaks to make my Renegade Shepard's run less tedious (seriously, what's with scattering guns, armor, and mods all over the damn place like that? I can do that once, I'm not going to do it a second time).

Although I'll be Alt-F4ing once Shepard passes out and is brought up into the light.

I read the spoilers, so I was fully prepared for disappointment. I thought anyways. After enjoying the game very much, I had kind of forgotten what I had read they few days before release, so when I made it on the Citadel again I told myself maybe I just need the context and those endings will not be so bad. I was wrong they still stink, and left me scratching my head. I just can't get back into the series/game right now. I have finished it twice, and have no desire to finish another or start another Shepard in ME1 or 2. 20 minutes killed four years of passion.

Put DAO into my PS3 and started playing it, knowing that I'll get a great epilogue.

I died a little inside. Which to me is pretty significant cause games are just games. They shouldn't be that important and I can't say that I've ever felt any of them were.

But a little bit of me died at the end of ME3. So I just sat there stunned, with my wife, who was sobbing her eyes out in disbelief watching the ending, and patted her on the shoulder and we went to bed.

This morning we got up and she decided shes not even going to finish playing her game after seeing the end. I can't say I blame her.

Hi guys,

I'm kinda interested what did you do after playing through the game?

Yesterday

For me I felt a huge powerful urge to voice my opinion about the ending and i was not alone. It felt totally like that Bioware+EA are the reapers and we every players through the planet unitedly voiceng their opinion.

Anyway after that I wanted to write a fanfic about an ending that I preffered it was already sort of illogical why not write a totally senseless ending.

and I wanted to watch a movie a sci-fi something about future space etc. the first thing that I grabbed from the shelves was Star trek so I watched it yesterday.

Today

I tried my hands on the multi I liked it I liked there was no story just shoot em  I felt refreshed and now I 'm starting from the begining again the very begining the first game the one that made me fall in love with the whole series

so tell me what did you do?

Yeah Bioware & EA are the Reapers

We are the United Galactic Alliance

& the people defending Bioware & EA are there Indoctrinated slaves XD

As for what I did I turned off the game disided that Bioeware will never again recieve my custom raged went to have a coffee with my naighbour. Came home  looked at the mass effect case raged some more, went to sleep, woke up continued raging came on the forums unleashed some rage & posted about it here lol

PS still RAGING

I stared at the screen in disbelief for a good five minutes, I'm not sure if I blinked once. Then I had a case of slight depression with actual physical symptoms, and I cried about it for about a minute. After I went outside and took some fresh air to change my mind. Then I've been reading the forums ever since.

finished the game yesterday morning, then started to trolling here for 1 f***ing day to see something about endings.

Possibly will delete ME games from my PC, because ending killed the replay idea.

I've always thought ME is a massive universe, blablabla, now i realised it's a piece of c**p so they can earn money from us, just a merge of DeusEx, StarWars, BSG etc. etc.

The ending, killed the mood.

i don't know about that.  the investment we made for this series was hardly just financial and it would be dismissive to call this a 'normal' game with average involvement.  it was emotinally investing just like a great movie that keeps you thinking about the characters long after the credits roll, or a great piece of literature that pulls at your heartstrings.

I went straight to the forums. Like many others, I had heard rumors that the ending was bad, but I shrugged it off. Wow, they weren't kidding. None of it makes any sense. I think the hardcore Star Wars fans got it super easy. All they got was a few annoying characters. We got an ending to a trilogy which made no-sense.

I went through the five stages of grief - minus the "acceptance" part.

Started working on my own novel again, using Bioware as motivation (not that I didn't have it before) to treat fans of the fictional world I create with love and respect.
Not hurting them, letting them down and discrediting everything they wanted
Along with making them feel like everything they invested in emotionally was a joke.

Since the ME series totally grabbed hold of me, I felt like i was slapped on the face pretty hard. I just couldn't (still can't tbh) comprehend how or why they did this to the closure of Shep's story. Utter disappointment filled me.

I YouTubed all the other endings and realized the one I chose is the one I liked best. Then I reloaded my just before Earth save and recorded my War Asset Data (I want to compare the EMS of all my Shepards to find out which one did the "best" without multiplayer influence). Then I went to sleep with heavy anticipation for next Shepard.

I started the next playthrough. And the next after that. Third inanity playthrough finished and now I really should get some more sleep the next few days after having only slept a couple of hours over the whole last week... but somehow I feel the need to play yet another of my imports or finally get into multiplayer now which I played so much during the demo phase.

I started the game over with the same ME 2 import to try and fix some mistakes I made. I played some multiplayer too and enjoyed it.

I was really sad and spent my whole day on the forum and felt better to see I wasn't alone in feeling this way. still visiting the forums to further voice my opinion and hope that Bioware will give us a new, happy ending

I finished the game the night of the 7th, was thrilled with it right up until the very end and was sitting in front of my monitor in utter shock and disbelief. I was thorough, methodical, and goal oriented in my play and I can't get a decent ending.

I vented my frustration on the boards and went right back to playing the game because it is awesome from point A to point Y and now I avoid point Z like the plague. I don't like it, but there is really nothing I can do about it and ME3 will be the game that was almost great, but not quite.

Came here and see what the consensus is, honestly I'm not exactly disappointed, just this emptiness in my stomach... then tried multi, which I really enjoyed.
