Lets keep this simple guys; just post your favourite voice actor out of all the characters in Dragon Age and why.

In my personaly opinnion, I find teyrn Loghain the best voice actor in the entire game. I can't explain it, but he gives out this sense of confidence and inspiration as he speak. I also would like to give out the honorable mention to Alister because of his charm.  *SPOILER* I didn't take him seriously until the Landsmeet when he refused to accept Loghain as a Grey Warden. I had to re-load my game because I just can't see him go after that */SPOILER* Nonetheless, Loghain has my vote for being badass.

My vote goes to Steve Valentine as Alistair. So many of the voice actors did such a great job, but to be that consistently stellar over such a sheer amount of dialogue is indicative of true talent.

Sorry, lame jokes aside. I like Lelianas voice very much, but for some reason I'm a sucker for french dialects. However, not sure if I'd say she's the best voice actress. There are so many voices... Hm, I'll edit if I come up with an answer. For now I'll stick with the girl from Orlais.

[edit] There are so many minor characters with great voices too, it's hard to pick one as a favourite. Like Ruck, in the deep roads. I cannot really give any examples because I'll spoil things but listening to him makes me sad. I feel such pity for him ... part of this is because the voice actor gets out the message so well.

I'd go with Alistair. He's just so sweet - slightly dim-witted but with his heart in the right place, and that really comes across in the voice acting. Very talented guy, Steve Valentine (?), and I hope BW use him in more of their games in the future.

I gotta say Morrigan/Claudia Black she really has an awesome accent ( australian and british mixed ? ) and very good as the "bad girl" voice, she got a seductive tone that she knows how to use very very well.

Almost all of them including short appearances did a good job. I am German, but prefer to play the English version, already did with ME and hope Bioware keeps up this policy of multilanguage releases.



I didn't check who is the actor, but among my favourites are Flemeth, Alistair, Morrigan, Duncan, Wynne, Irving, Loghain, and last but not least: Shale!

Claudia Black/Morrigan because shes a stunning sexy succubus in every game she voice's...and shes just as stunning in real life imo.

For me it's totally Flemeth/Kate Mulgrew. I LOVE her cackle in particular, only wish she was a bigger presence in the game.



I think the voice acting is very solid throughout the whole game; I think all the NPCs apart from Zevran (who, I'm sorry, really sounds like a Transylvanian vampire to me) have incredibly well-matched voices. I'll never get over Alistair's "Have you ever licked a lamp post in winter line?", his banter with Morrigan where he declares she looks like her mother or Wynne's exasperation at my PC's fascination with griffons.

I'm biased. I got more excited about the game more when I found out that Claudia Black was lending her voice (and to a 'major' NPC, too). So my vote's definitely for Morrigan/Sun/Black.



Other than her, I liked Alistair and Loghain (hard to pick between the 2, tho: Alistair was funny, if a bit annoying at times, but Loghain had 'presence').

Kate! Definitely Kate, hands down. (Captain Janeway/Flemeth's VA.) Her presence in the game may be smallish, but it was one of impact and depth. I loved it.

Steve Valentine, hands down; I stopped imagining the actor altogether when he performed as Alistair. And if you've watched Crossing Jordan so many bloody times on TV reruns, that's a hard feat to accomplish

I quite like Leliana's voice personally, and I think (at least in Ostagar) that Loghain's voice portrays a hidden motive to his battle plans, which I liked as rather than simply listen to the character speak I tried to denounce why he had such a tone.

Almost all the voice acting in this game is fantastic, a job really well done. Id have to say esp on the part of Loghain, Alistair, Morrigan and I really like zevran. Its nice to see a game though were the voice acting has some effort put into it. It takes the game to another level entirly, without it the world would feel so much more hollow.
