I love to listen to Alistair - Morrigan is my next favorite. Wish there were more conversations, sometimes i'm laughing so hard, I have to stop playing! Great Game!

actually now that i know who voiced Allister. I kinda laugh at the people who are in love with that character. That guy really isn't what i imagined he would be.
Anyway i have to say Steve Blum and Captain janeway. also who did the lady of the woods?

Steve Valentine all the way! And Simon Templeman gets an honorary mention.

Claudia Black/Morrigan because shes a stunning sexy succubus in every game she voice's...and shes just as stunning in real life imo.
I have 3 favorites, Kate Mulgrew, Steve Valentine and Claudia Black, not necessarily in that order.

Zevran is my first choice, and second place goes to king Cailan. Does anyone know who was the VA for him? When he says "Glorious" it really sinks in! Steve Valentine was really good, actually, only one I did not like was Leliana. Her lisping makes me grazy. But, so is taste, everyone has own.

In the minority but another vote for Jon Curry as Zevran. I know a lot of people compare it to "Puss in Boots" but it works for me. Steve Valentine and Kate Mulgrew were also excellent (I wanted more Flemeth!)
Overall, I think the entire cast did a brilliant job. Leliana grates a bit on my nerves (but she does in game too, personality wise) so it's still fitting. Truth be told, I recognized Steve Blum's voice as Gorim before my ear caught he was doing Oghren too - I walk by Gorim in Denerim and I hear "Dwarven Crafts!" and I look around going, "Spike? Cowboy Bebop, wut?!"

I'd go with Black or Kempa (Lel) depending on the day. But there really are so many good performances. And only a couple that grate on me (And one of those was supposed to, of course. "Teeeeeeaagaaaaaan!")

Corinne Kempa as Leliana and who ever did Loghain.

Steve Blum. Go listen to Oghren. Then go listen to Gorim. Same guy, sound nothing alike.

Again, outstanding voice acting all around. Top-notch all the way. Hard to pick, but the ones that stick out as most memorable and convincing (for me) were Morrigan, Oghren, Shale and Loghain.

I play the french version and they are amazing .. The quality of the french version for me anyway surpass the original .How they play with word and use the *old* french's amazing.

It's a hard thing to choose really. I think most of the voice actors did a suprisingly excellent job, and there were alot of voice actors. So, with the writing for the characters aside, I think I have to rank the following voice actors in this order.
1.) Duncan
2.) Morrigan
3.) Alistair
4.) Loghain
5.) Flemmeth

I think the best voice actor was Matt Yang King. I have no idea who he was, but since I know the guy, that is good enough for me.

I'd say Claudia Black and Steve Valentine.

Simon Templeman, Steve Valentine, Claudia Black and a nod to Mark Hildreth because Sten is pure awesome.
The quality of the voice acting is, overall, fantastic, even down to the regular soldiers and townspeople.

Pretty much EVERYONE.
Some of my favorites however, were Corrine Kempa (I'm in love with her voice) and Steve Blum (I can recognize that voice anywhere).

Does Steve Blum also do the Mayor of Redcliffe...Murdock or whatever his name is? If so, he let's his raspy voice slip through some of the dialogue, it's pretty hilarious. Whoever it is did kind of a shoddy job. But if it is Blum, he did alot of voice work so it's pretty excusable swapping between characters. Someone should of noticed in the recording studio though.
And yes, we're all spoiled on decent voice actors these days, I remember a few really bad ones in the 90s.

Steve Blum is by far my favorite voice actor, and not just in Dragon Age. I've watched some anime and played other games he voiced over characters in, and in each one I can't help but admire how much passion and effort he puts behind each character and their different personality. As for the voice acting for Dragon age specifically, I liked the voice overs for Oghren and Irving (Steve Blum
), Zevran, Alistair, Anders (Awakening), Cullen, Riordan, Greagoir, Sandal, and Nathaniel Howe (Awakening). I also liked Master Ignacio's voice.
