Here's something odd - started my paly through with my Rogue today. At ostagar I bought a backpack from the quartermaster, headed out into the wilds. I came back and he had another backpack (also for less than 60 silver). I bought that one, headed out again. Came back - lo and behold a third backpack. My rogue is bery impressed with her large amount of transport. Anybody else encounter this ? Anywhere else where you can do the same with other items or backpacks ?

I have never encountered this but I can reassure you I will try it on my next char!!! lol

I think this is a minor bug (more of a design oversight than a bug really) with merchants completely restocking all of their wares in different versions of areas. As far as I can tell, this will only happen in two places: Ostagar, and your camp. Whatever you can manage to buy from the merchant at your camp the first time will be there again when you return to camp from the world map.

I just noticed this as well, however I only managed to get two out of him. one wonders how many backpacks you could get out of him.

I think even if you can get unlimited backpacks through this "bug", your wallet is the limiting factor.



I encountered this as well, and I thought it was only because day turned to night, so the vendor is considered in a "different area" and restocked.



But I could only afford 2 backpacks from him.

It happened to me too. Not been to Orzammar and Brecilian yet and I have 110 spaces in my backpack now.

Inventory is capped at 125, that will limit more than the 57 silver pieces for the backpack.

125 is enough for me tbh, without using any bugs, anyway... Still it's a nice glitch... Extra space is always welcome...
