Does anyone else find that breath shepard took to be more bad than good?

Personally i started out thinking it was good, but now it actually just adds to the pain of not knowing about things..

Doesn't make sense* as a last breath. Doesn't look like one either and I've seen a couple last breaths...

I think you are looking in to it in a bad way because of the generally bad ending, it wasn't a cliff hanger, it wasn't even coherent, it was just a mish mash of random stuff they just put together.

My interpretation is that shepard wakes up after the blast from Harbinger, everything there after is a load of non-sense and should be ignored.

The more I think about it the more I am inclined to believe that the game was released unfinished or the story was not complete.

Only thing that is heavily inconsistent about the breathing scene is the fact that Shepard is wearing at least intact chest-plate when his/her entire armor should've been blown up (as it was shown) after getting beamed by the Reaper during the last part of the hammer mission.

Yep, your last breath is way diffrent then suddenly beathing air again.

I meant last breath in a way that we dont see anymore after that. A last breath of inhaling rather than exhaling... It may be a sign of hope but what hope is there when everything else is f*#ked?

The more each day goes on the more and more I think about the ending I chose and why they would even have him take a breath before the credits. I created a separate save with the synthesis ending just to see what would happen. Now I have two ending saves and I don't even know why. I liked the endings but reading everything people are saying makes me think I might want to have options.
