Suggestions for Krogan Sentinel builds?

Falcon + either shotguns would work. Geth shotgun is more for mid range combat (similar to Falcon), while Claymore is best at close range. Personally I'd go with the Geth shotgun over the Claymore - more ammo in the clip, and much higher damage mid range if you charge up.

Take the 2 strongest and biggest guns you have and shoot everything to hell. You're a weapon platform of doom. Act like it.

I think I'll be going with the falcon and the graal spike thrower as my weapons, but they are both only level 1, so I'm not sure if it'll be enough. The falcon has increased ammo capacity and armor piercing (until I find the damage bonus), and the graal has piercing and melee attachments - are these the best choices?
I'm wondering if I'll need to stick around in silver until I get to higher levels for my weapons...

for gold runs, I found it is best to carry a falcon and a widow/black widow.
falcon is already my close quarter weapon why do I need a shotgun? the only benefit seems solely for the melee bonus. for me it doesnt worth it.
and with Rage I'd suggest getting martial artist and pure rage for rank 5th and 6th. for better defense
actually.
pick off 2 enemies with heavy melee and you get 65% additional defense at 1012 health and 1350 shield. IMO superior than a merely 1200 health and 1600 shield at 40% added defense. thinking about respeccing my krogan soldier to this.
and with the widows you can contribute more to the team and staying alive better.

Everything max except incinerate (the grenades are awesome).
Tech Armor: Durability, Melee Damage, Durability.
Grenade: Damage, Max Grenades, Damage&Radius
Berserker: Weapon dmg, headshots, weapondmg
Rage: Durability, Martial Artist, Fitnexx Expert
Weapons: Falcon and Widow.
He rocks on Gold!

I was thinking the graal would be nice for armored targets and to stagger enemies, but I can see the widow being a much more viable choice in some maps.
The problem: I don't have the widow. =/ Think I'd stand a chance with the mantis until I unlock something better?
