I never got angry about the DLC thing, I didn't really care to be honest. I even bought it after my 1st playthrough. After reading this article though it really made me think. Especially since Bioware had a pretty darn good reputation. At least before the EA/DA2/ME3 thing. I don't want to get in the hate wagon because, I'm not 17 anymore and, I understand the reality of game developing and the video game industry. They're not making it out of the kindness of their heart. They're making a living out of it. They need to turn in a profit and, with the development prices soaring, DLC is the way to stay open and keep doing games. I get it really, that's why I don't complain much.

After seeing companies like Red projekt or something (the guys that made the awesome Witcher 2, that won't use anti piracy stuff and that keep smiling and giving away stuff after a game got pirated 2.5 million times), These guys are giving away free DLC like the upcoming director's cut etc. Even Bethesda is talking about giving away free stuff for Skyrim. I don't know if Bioware will get in the free stuff bandwagon, I sure hope so. They have catching up to do as the forums can tell us. Well, at least if people stop being racist and homophobic about it.

Anyway point is, keep screwing over and ignoring your fans, your reputation goes down the drain. Let's not forget EA probably as the worst reputation in the industry with activision. I really hope things settle down, I don't like conflicts :P

So basically the screwed up ending and changing of storyine, as well as shoving already made content and labeled it as DLC is because of Microsoft incompetence that cause the leak? Screw you. If this the best you can come up with.

Javik has never been a DLC bring him to Thessia with Liara and you will see the guy has been in the game since the beginning. There is no way this guy is "developed after the game goes gold". Casey Hudson thinks we are dumb? Cool, no more Bioware game for me if that how you treat your customer. It's not the end of the world with Bioware gone from my gaming collection we still have many great developers around. I don't take that kind of BS lightly.

It's not really that big of a deal.

But to investors and brokers who don't play games but invest in media companies this sort of article is what they pay attention to.  They don't invest because they like the company, they invest to make money; and when a flagship product has negative press and a companies business practices are called into question it certainly doesn't bode well for long term feasibility.

EA stock has been doing really poorly since BF3 anyways, a small surge before the release of ME3 but its creeping back down.

Right on ... I don't want anyone fired or any directed aggression to one person ... except for the people paying the bills at EA/Bioware. It's there job make sure there employees are delievering a quality product. EA was looking at projected earnings & profit from DLC, toys, pre-order sales & stroking themselves against the Call of Duty franchise numbers ... Well the egg on EA/Bioware now.
