Hi all,

I have a problem with my system completely freezing/crashing when I'm on the citadel
for the first time. Crash happens after ~20sec - 2min; no matter if I stay at the first room,
go to the hospital or go to the other areas.
The screen freezes, ~2sec later the sound freezes and I have to reboot my PC (no taskmanager, Alt-Tab, etc. working).

I've already tried the following but the freeze still happens:
- Updated the game
- Disabled visual/desktop designs
- Assigned cpu cores 0,1 only to the game
- Fullscreen --> Windowed mode
- Turned off antialiasing
- Turned off dyn. shadows
- Turned off vsync
- Switched physx to cpu-only
- Exchanged the AWC.dll and EACore.dll
- Did a repair installation
- Turned off my antivirus
- Switched origin off ingame
- Run game as administrator
- Started a new game and didn't use any modifications on armor/weapons

The game runs 100% fine on earth/mars...freeze/crashing starts on the Citadel.
Anyone got an idea what else I can try?

I have a similar problem and have tried all of the above!

my game freezes after cutscenes. it actually happened for me the first time when I entered the citadel, then I reloaded the game and got past that. now when I'm doing the ukkutu quest helping grunt and the game freezes after the last cutscene and the screen goes black. it's like it doesn't load beyond that point and looking at the taskmanager the game doesn't respond. also like 5 seconds after you enter the cave the game freezes for like 5 seconds and runs like nothing happend.

I have restarted the quest had every character combination possible and yeah... nothing works. the sound stops working after a while to for some reason...any way to fix this? Iev played for like 10 hours and I'm not to keen replaying that much.

System specs.:
Win7 Professional 64bit SP1
Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti 1024MB DirectCU II (SLI) (GeForce 295.73 Driver) (Resolution: 1440*900)
Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz quad core
8GB RAM
DirectX 11

Update:
After several quick saves and freezes and computer restarts I managed to get
to the normandy.
Unfortunately the freezes/crashes still happen there (was hoping it was a regional problem but seems not).

yo! you probably already solved the problem but wth, I fixed this by repairing my install by opening origin and right click on the mass effect 3 picture and press repair install. after this it should work perfectly;)
