why can't I post in the spoilers section? It says I do not meet the requirements

You need to register a copy of ME3 with this account to post in those sub-forums. There's a how-to guide in the FAQ.

So you can post here fine, but cannot register your copy.

Please explain this.

Because these forums don't require registration?

"I can't register my game because my internet isnt cooperating."
"Then how are you posting here"
"Because I dont need to register here"

...if your internet wasn't working, you wouldn't be able to post anywhere at all, though?  I am confused as to how this arbitrarily limited internet outage is preventing registration but allowing forum posts.

I am Dave, and I have the balls!

On a different note, though I'm not keen on the endings myself, I do wish they weren't posted about in the General forums. Maybe a section could be opened for people who haven't yet bought the game and want to ask questions, and General could be for only game owners that want to chat spoiler-free.

This sub-forum is currently full of spoilers about basically everything - I know I wouldn't be posting here if I were worried about spoiling my future playthrough.

If non-registrants who wish to discuss spoilerish topics were given a place to do so, they would have much less of an incentive to do so here. This is true regardless of the fact that it's a massively d*** move to post spoilers in a non-spoiler forum.

And you really think that if we opened a general one without registration they would take all spoilers there and stop posting them here? I admit that some more thoughtful people would, but I think most would continue to post here and continue to complain they aren't allowed to complain about the game here. We tried it with Dragon Age II and it did not help.

The only thing ruining this game is the abominable ending.

It wouldn't hurt to try. People certainly seem much less angry about this game than they did about Dragon Age 2 :D

Indeed.

We will enforce as best we can that there are no spoilers in this forum.

We are not preventing people from criticising the game. We are insisting that these criticisms are posted in teh Storyline or Gameplay forums where spoilers are allowed to be discussed.

Does that mean that you have sorted out the issues and there are no flaws anymore with the websites, support and/or registration/account process/access for Bioware games?

Or does it mean a stance of "we don't care listening to people that actually got issues with our designs, software and/or support"

So your condemning current ME3 players and future ME3 players by ignoring a doctrine for DA2? The games already have enough similarities in a bad way. If you have an option to limit the amount of spoilers in the is forum without compromising the un-registered fanbase, I would like to think you would immediately do so.

you know that as soon as a reg free spoiler section was opened the cry would go up about having reg free sections to mirror every reg section.

"HE HAS CAKE !!!!...I WANT CAKE!"

"HE HAS MORE CAKE THAN ME!"

ads infinitum

No, what we need is a spoiler section for non-registrants.
Actually, scratch that, what we need are simply spoiler and non-spoiler sections, period. Available to everyone.
Deal with trolls as you see them.

Ok. I've explained this and this will not change.

The final word here is that Spoilers are not allowed on this forum. Period. We will continue to work to remove them and direct people to register their copies of ME3 and post in the correct forums. There is a sticky at the top of the page to express your dislike of this policy.

You can get help with registering your copy here.

You can also talk with Customer Support here.

If people cannot register their copy and have tried teh above steps, please send me a Private Message and I will work to help you register.

LOCKDOWN!
