and Amazon said my CE has shipped early! Hooray!
I selected free shipping, so for everyone who's still waiting I don't see why your orders shouldn't ship too! I have no idea when it will get here, but I think the place it ships from is a couple hours away, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be here tomorrow!

Congrats. As of right now, I'm never ordering games from amazon again. I pre-ordered the CE w/ amazon prime and am paying extra for next day shipping. No ship notice yet....



Regardless of when it get's here, I'm going to try and get my shipping money back. Paying extra for absolutely nothing (or less than nothing if it doesn't ship today) is atrocious.

Well TD, like many folks here who ordered the CE from Amazon.com, we're in the same boat. I don't think you should worry just yet. My estimated arrival time is the 5th (not sure when your's is). I think (and this is just my opinion) at most you should wait and see what happens. If by say 7 pm it hasn't shipped, chances are you won't be getting it tomorrow and neither will I. Although I do remember some else mentioning in another thread that Amazon can surprise you sometimes (i.e. they don't update customers about shipping enough, and then said customer receives the game outside their door even though it says it hasn't shipped online....I can attest for this).

I agree that if we paid for overnight shipping (the most expensive option) we should get it on release day and NOT the freakin' 5th. Then again, we have to take into consideration that the CE was sold out via other venues when we got around to pre-ordering. For my part, I sincerely hope yours ships today as does mine. But if I don't receive the game tomorrow, I'm not too freaked out about it (because, well, I wouldn't really be able to enjoy it till wednesday afternoon anyway).

YYYYEEEEESSSS! Shipped next day via fedex 30 minutes ago. This is the best case for me - FedEx usually delivers around 1PM, UPS doesn't show up until 7PM at my house.

They mailed it to you a day early?  Why the heck do they even bother to have a release date if no one is actually sticking to it? Happy for you btw just little miffed that the posted release date is next to useless.

Rather sad when the company that actually dictates the release date does not even stick to it.

This whole release date shennanigans means that people who do digital downloads dont even get a shot at an early copy .

Seriously, what's the point of a release date then? This is getting quite silly, I mean, half the people have the game days ahead of Nov. 2nd.

I have never had a issue with Amazon I ordered my copy Friday and it shipped this afternoon around 5 est will be here tomm I chose release day shipping it was only 5 bucks or so

Surprisingly enough, the order for a CE I placed at EA yesterday shipped today, free 2nd day air, so I'll be getting the game either tomorrow or Wednesday. Not bad.

i agree. im pretty annoyed at this "video game date" BS that keeps happening. thats what i'll be doing for all of my responsibilities from now on. "sure, i'll be there on or around the 25th..."

Aww,  come on everyone! You'll all get the game eventually, right? I'm not usually this lucky, btw. Amazon's usually very slow with my orders even though I'm about two hours away from their processing facility.

I just got an email from gamestop that had the codes that I redeem for in-game goodies, but no notice that my CE has shipped :/

Just as a note: it seems that those who get the CE shipped today are those who got next day shipping. This entails we will get it on the 3rd, which is the release date.



Therefore, Amazon isn't breaking the release date, since there's no way we would be getting it today.

for my tracking number in email...it says none...but it says my copy has been shipped...it doesnt say when i will recieve...i ordered through ea store.
