My main problem with the game is the Catalyst. Its logic is completely flawed and contradictory, and it makes every single choice you did from Mass Effect 1 to ME3 pointless. It says that the Reapers destroy and harvest all orgnanic life to prevent synthetics from destroying them because it is inevitable that synthetics will cause ruin to organic life, but at the same time it uses synthetics to destroy organic life. If they are so concerned about that, then why don't the Reapers side with organics and make sure that synthetics dont overcome them? Also, it has been proven that synthetics can be friends with organics (ex. EDI and the Geth).

A second issue is that the Catalyst completely makes all of my work worthless, since they have no effect on the ending. I saved the Rachni from extinction, destroyed the Collectors, hepled the Geth become stronger, cured the Genophage, made peace between the Quarians and the Geth, and united the entire galaxy against the Reapers. And what is my reward? A deus-ex machina that makes 100+ hours of choices and gameplay useless. What was the point of doing all that stuff if I have to do what the Catalyst wants anayway and screw over all life in the galaxy? If anything, the Crucible should have been nothing but a gun that could aid in destroying the Reapers, not the only element that decides the fate of the galaxy.

On a side note, the endings have almost variety to them. No matter what happens, the Mass Relays get destroyed, isolating all parts of the galaxy from each other and screwing everyone over(they din't even explain why this happens), your crew gets stranded on Monkey Island, and all life gets cut off from each other. The only real change in the cutscenes is the color of the mass relay explosion scenes. I never expected a perfectly happy ending (since you are fighting Reapers afterall), but I at least wanted an ending where the Reapers completely dominate all life and the cycle completes itself. But no, they couldn't even give us that.

Failure is not an option apparently. Also the reapers don't actually seem all that powerful, if a really big cannon can take them out (ME2) then a relay bomb should work quite nicely being the power of a supernova.

I guess the arrival DLC never really clicked in any of the races minds that the mass relays can be turned into big bombs.

Sums up the ending choices quite well, sadly enough "I should go" wasn't there, cause I would have walked away from it's bull****.

Mass Relays are powerful explosive bombs, but what's the point of fighting if the only option is destroying the galaxy? You might as well let the Reapers harvest and destroy everything.
