Morrigan has a hidden agenda we know this for sure she not the type to care about anyone but her goals. I thinks she wanted flemeth dead so she could gain the same power this is where this child comes into place.

My human noble had the "good" romance ending with Alistair, so I was pretty shocked when I heard Morrigan's offer. Until then I was counting on Riordan to deliver the killing blow, and started having doubts. It was a bit heart wrenching to see them do it too, since I pretty much hated Morrigan and loved Alistair, but I think I did the right thing in the end... Right? Now we just wait until the child grows up and decides s/he wants to take over the world... Though I want to believe that Morrigan speaks the truth and the child will be uncorrupted... But who is to say the old god itself is not an evil being?
Yeah, I completely understand...however, I did not watch it. Thank the maker for the skip cut scene option lol.

I'm sorry but i guess i got games like Dark Messiah bogging my thought process down but lets say Morrigan and The Lead Male characters child, or even Morrigan and Alistairs child is born. It doesn't condem it to being a evil being, it may cause or force it to play a huge role in future adventures. Yet being atleast somewhat Mortal at birth, not to mention it's the vessel of a fallen god who has great power I doubt it'll be anything other than what it wants to be.

Yeah flemeth wanted her dead so she could take morrigans body so flemeth could live longer. I thinks morrigan has found out this is the key to live longer and gain the same power by taking over her god childs body and this is how flemeth gained her power by taking over bodies to live longer.
In this cause the baby is going to be much stronger as it's a demon baby. I'm just speculating here cause i so want to know her real goal.

Its strange. I didn't really like Morrigan from the promotion stuff I had seen, but while playing the game she became my favorit female character. I romanced her and sticked to her to the bitter end. I never trusted her and I killed Flemmeth just because I trusted her even less... though I have to admit I also couldn't bear the thought of leaving Morrigan to her mercy.
When she made the offer I hated her and at first I declined. Then she asked me to demand it from Alister and I realized that there would be no chance she would back off from her plan, so I gave in and did it myself. I was afraid of what may come out of it, but I wanted her to stay as long as possibile (hoping I could convince her not to leave after the battle) and I wanted to prevent Alister's death (you never know who will get the last stroke...).
After the ceremony my character tried to track her down, although I wished I could stay with Alister and the Grey Wardens... the first reason was, I wanted to see if there is an ending where the character finds her and the 2nd reason was, I wanted to be there to kill the child if it was a mistake and the child turned into something dangerous.
So I have to admit I lost the battle against her charm and she played me like a puppet player:huh:
