Impossible to get enough EMS without multiplayer - No spoilers

I am now at the stage to assault Illusive man and my TMS is 7100-7200 (something like that) so I might not do everything but if what my friend says that there is much more to be done then achieving 8000 TMS is possible thus giving you what you need. But if your roleplaying failed to give you such amount I fail to see any right to complain since you don't deserve it.

Ok.
Man.
I'm among the people you haven't read from. Trust me, I checked, listed, counted, calculated. Even after accounting for a couple of possibilities I may have missed in the list, it's impossible to reach 8000 TOTAL in SP.

I finished double checking my numbers so that's pretty much final
there's just a little over 8K TMS but this number is false
Why is that so? redundancy. you can't have both wreav alive and wrex alive etc.
shaving off the redundant entires I'm sitting at ~7600 (there are prob more I have to remove I give you that since I've been staring at the computer for the whole day) which while higher then what Nachtritter has stills falls short of the magical 8K.

Haha, leave it to someone with a Liara avatar to come up with that link --- you a Shadow Broker, by any chance?
Anyway, thanks for the link. Could have saved me a few hours earlier.

does that list account for the extra points you get from interviews with Allers?

a few notes here
a) I'm only tallying positive increases, negative numbers (i.e. a reduction in TMS) is thrown into the note column.you will never have every positive war asset so a few hundred points might be shaved off here and there. (e.g you can't have both Wrev and Wrex alive)
c) yes I know it's horrible to read atm and I will prob clean it up later (if I can be bothered lol...) but I've already learned a few things from doing this exercise (e.g siding with Xen over Tali on one of the radio conversions will give some extra asset)

Thanks again for the list, Unato. I do believe everything is there from going through it, yes. It's nice to have proof against everyone saying the 8000 assets is totally possible, when such a thing is only a possibility if ALL possible situations are accounted for (which in actuality CANNOT happen).

You gain 3% of galactic readiness for every won match, that's 17 matches to go from 50% to 100%. It's about 4 hours of Bronze runs, then you just need to run one match every day to keep it at 100%, are you telling me that you can't spread 17 matches during your whole SP campaign?!
No. I have absolutely zero interest in multiplayer. I have no plans to ever use the feature and no desire to know any more about it. I don't even know how multiplayer ME3 works, and no real interest in finding out.
My personal experience with single player games with a multiplayer option has always been profoundly negative. From abusive 'smack talking' kids who scream torrents of homophobic abuse at you for the slightest mistake, or hesitation; to idiot spammers hurling out Chuck Norris and 'your momma' memes in ALLCAPS.
But most of all, I hate multiplayer options because I'm the type of person who likes to do things slowly, and methodically, carefully exploring everywhere, and using careful tactics to overcome challenges. My own experience with online gameplay is that everyone I ever end up playing with is the polar opposite of this - prefering to race through everything at breakneck speed, rushing through encounters, skipping everything that can be skipped. It's as if they are governed by some kind of internal timer that assures them their game will expire unless completed in the fastest possible time.
So no.. I don't think I'll be doing any kind of multiplayer. This presumably means I will have to settle for an inferior ending. If thats the way it has to be, then I'll just have to suck it up and live with the consequences.

Well, look at Unato's link above. All the numbers are there. If you calculate properly, you'll see it's impossible to reach a total of 8,000 assets (or 4,000 EMS @ 50% readiness, which it stays at in Single Player only). The only way to get 8,000 points is count ALL possibilities together (as in being able to get points from both outcomes in situations where the game only allows for one to be picked). In other words, it's impossible. At best, you'll reach 7,600, according to Unato's numbers. It's a bit higher than what I had calculated, but Unato used the actual file from the game, so I'd say this is a definitive version.

7899 by my calculations, but I'm going to double check.

Don't forget to substract where needed and only ever pick one option whenever presented with choices.

I don't think the From Ashes DLC Asset is on that list (Eden Prime 100), though it still doesn't close the gap.

That person's screenshot is all fudged. There is no way to get that many Adari, Krogan, Ex-Cerberus, and Crucible points. Just the Asari category is almost a full 400 ppints beyond what the game allows through quests and misc scannables.
Either an edited .bin file, a bug, or somehow playing online with players who have ediyed .bin files can affect yours. But from all the data I've seen and that imclude yours up there, just in what we see here there are hundreds of oints that cannot be traced in the actual game resources. I call BS.

with 7500 you can get your choice of all 3 endings but you wont get the extra shep in rubble taking a breath ending
and after re-reading the sticky bioware said you can get a "good ending" but not the "best ending"
Jarrett Lee wrote...
UPDATE: changing post title, "perfect" ending may create confusion. This
post indicates how military strength, war assets and galactic readiness
affect the endings.
i think the issue here is after reading that post a few times is you need to read between the lines
Bioware never said you could get the "perfect" ending just a "good" ending
and 3500+ is a "good" ending
