From Ashes isn't on it, yes, I don't know where the governing files are but it's not like it offers a magical 500 points so it's pretty much moot although it does mean that as we get more DLC with asset we'll get closer to the magical 8K TMS (non DLC players are then naturally boned)

as for the spoiler thread... yea I'm not sure what's happening. just ex cerberus alone is a whole 100 points ahead of what's in the game files. i am confused to say the least =p

No, we have proven that the Devs LIED to us. It is NOT possible to get the perfect ending without using multiplayer which makes the multiplayer essential to get the 'best' ending...and that is something that the Devs specifically promised would not be the case.

It turns out that this was a half-truth.

Its practically impossible to get the best ending through single-player alone UNLESS:

I am incredibly disappointed by this. Bioware slapped multiplayer, a feature that a fairly prominent portion of their fanbase wouldn't care to play. That was fine in and of itself, but to force it on the single-player game the way they did, after saying they wouldn't is just dishonest.

I was a faithful to the mass effect series since the launch of the first game. And because of that faithfulness and playing on the xbox 360 against my better judgement, I am now doomed because I do not play for Live Gold, ence I cannot even play the multiplayer if I wanted to.

Bioware made a terrible call here.

With the ending of the Mass Effect trilogy, the failure that DA2 was, and the boring carbon-copy that SWTOR is, I am no longer tied to Bioware. And after this constant spree of terrible decisions that mar otherwise great games, I can say that I will be approaching future Bioware titles with more reserve and much less enthusiasm. 

I like Bioware, hell I even have an old friend Marc-Antoine Matton that worked there, but it just feels like they've lost their touch.

Frome Ashes gives you around 250 to 300 if you do every thing

I was looking here actually. For instance, that list mentions an "Alliance Cruiser Nairobi" in Gemini Sigma, but there's no mention of it in the list I got from the Coalesced.

so whats missing + From Ashes + interview bonus ~8000 its in there is just DAMNED hard to get all of it

This was my complaint, too.  Why have the EMS bar show full, when to get the "perfect" ending you need a lot more points?

I had already taken into account the conversations with Allers in my calculations. No, I don't think "From Ashes" factors into the equation because then people who didn't buy the DLC would be screaming for blood.

as far as I can tell, the bonuses are there from the interview, it's assets 217 to 223 and prob a bit more. it's essentially a +5 value

I'm curious if the absence of  Nairobi is an indication that the game doesn't slap on extra asset points. does anyone have a save pre finding Nairobi?

im running on the fact one would have the CE which came with it and that it was cut from the game at EA's request
so id add it in and i was off any way its more like 150 to 200 any way

well i wont try to argue this statement, this thread is 26 pages long, so obviously some people disagree and there is no clear answer. Also devs said alot of things. What i dont see is how playing some games online is a problem at all, participating in this thread probably took more time. And when bored just mod the game. I suppose the real problem here is:

the REAL issue is that XBL has a fee if you want to play on line with it and this has always been the case and imo if you buy a 360(and i do own one) then you need to be prepared to pay the fee if you want/need to play on line
now ME3 does come with 2 days free for XBL gold so if you use it right at lest your first few plays you dont have pay the on line fee
but im sorry if you can afford a 360, internet, a HD TV and a 60 buck game you can put down the cash for XBL Gold once in a wile if you dont like it trade in for a PS3 or play on PC

I think you're missing the point. Sure, they could play the multiplayer portion, spend some time there and get a few bronze missions done. Thats totally possible. Or they could mod the game. That can be done too. (However, does that mean the Bioware Devs are in favour of fan mods?)

But, here's the thing. We have documented proof here that we have been lied to. And this is hardly the only instance of it in this game. The outrage here is not that boo hoo, we have to play multiplayer (tho there are a few who would say that), the outrage here, and prevalent in the forums, is that we, the playerbase have been lied to, repeatedly, and unabashedly.

Now, if it were just a money issue, EA/Bioware trying to sell more DLCs, well, maybe we'd rant and cry, then pay $$ for it. Heck, a few more "from the ashes" type DLCs and maybe you can play renegade and still get enough war assets for the best outcome. [Sarcasm]But wait, which of the 17 outcomes is the best? Well, that's a different thread i guess.[/Sarcasm]

But what do you do, when people lie to you?

(i have ps3) Well tbh no matter the cost its a bit unfair against xbox users, because they have to pay more then other plattforms. Which i find pretty ironic considering ME was made for xbox. So yeah i can see their point, definitely.

its not like MS just started charging for gold when ME3 came out every one knew it would MP and that it COULD have a impact on SP and that if you played on a 360 you have to pay extra for MP on the 360

the anger should directed at MS for charging for MP in the frist place if you dont like that you have to pay for it on the 360 DONT BUY A 360 
geting a 360 and complanging about paying for MP on it is like buying WoW and complaining you have pay a monthly fee to play it 
want free MP get a PS3 or get the game for PC 

ME1 was done with MS funding bioware was later bought by EA and EA bought the IP from MS

I checked my completed game vs the spreadsheet and note there is 0 difference for Geth, Quarian, Asari and Ex Cerb

checking everything for the Alliance Krogan and Alien section gives me a headache (so much conditions to tick off) so I'm going to go shoot someone (in ME3)

will continue 2moro. carry on arguing etc =D
