Let's see, 1075 replies, almost 15,500 views, 44 pages, and the silence from Bioware is deafening. Just wondering Bioware if you are trying to lose your fans? Though to be honest after DA2 I simply became a consumer and now in the case of ME3 I am becoming thrifty and wise by not buying it.
What I find frustrating is that ME3 is actually a very good game, well worth buying - to see it's maker shooting itself in the foot repeatedly with PR blunders and tactics almost designed to alienate fans (like tying the multiplayer to the single player campaign like this) is painful.
ME3 is no DA2 repeat - and I even defended DA2 from the most extreme reactions. It was a decent enough game, though horribly rushed, and nowhere near the quality of DA:O.
But ME3 is actually an outstanding game, quite possibly my favorite of the series. Though I have not yet seen the end, so it remains to be seen how that'll effect my opinion.

No one is denying the fact that the Journey is great and wonderful. The game is great, it brought emotions where it should through out the game. Even the final farewell was well done.
But all the complaints are the Ending, so if you haven't finished the game, please do not comment on what everyone is arguing about.
Because once you finished, you will join the ranks of HOLD THE LINE
once you finish, you will understand.

So, just to clear this up, I played my first run without touching multiplayer and had the "perfect" ending. But I was playing a Paragon shepard.
I guess, if you've suffered losses in ME2 and you're playing renegade, you might have some problems.
But the multiplayer mode is way better than I expected. It's actually a lot of fun and it took me maybe 6 hours to get the Galactic readyness to 100%. Just check it out, you'll be positively surprised.
This whole thread is about getting to 4000 EMS, you can not get 4000 EMS without Multiplayer, they promised there will be enough War Assets that pushes your Single Player game over 4000 EMS without playing Multiplayer, Did you get over 4000 EMS without player Multiplayer. Because apparently there isn't even enough War Assets in the Single Player game to get to 8000 TMS
So what happened, where is the promise that we can get to 4000 EMS without Multiplayer.

You'd think they'd at least say why/how they screwed this up/lied and issue an apology. Pretty big issue. Was no reply on twitter either.
My thoughts on this are, they'll just patch in new values later, write about it in the patch notes, and not mention it ever again. That will not, however, solve the issue for those who do not have an internet connection on the system they play the game on (I do know quite a few people who do not connect their PS3 or their XBOX 360 to the internet).

You can't modify the PC game files without Origin detecting it, right?Nachtritter76 wrote...

Also, I keep seeing 3900 thrown around as the max value, but I've yet to see a screenshot of anyone even breaking 3750 legit.

Scanning modification of single-player save game files, and acting upon it, would be unnecessarily intrusive and unreasonable. This, however, does not mean that Electronic Arts will not do so.

I don't believe they would necessarily scan the single-player save game files. Although I do not know of anything that would prevent them from doing so. I don't think they will. I also do not believe they would necessarily act on modifications of the Coalesced.bin file that only affects the single-player experience. But they would be right to act on modifications that can allow cheating in the multiplayer game.
As for a patch, it can be done. It would only require for the software to change lines that are easily identifiable in the .bin file --- or simply replacing it with a new one altogether.

Breaking 3750 is possible only if you include N7 Special Ops/Cerberus Escapees/Allied Reinforcements (General Sherman) assets--which honestly shouldn't be because they are only attainable through MP or other external means.
Subtracting those, my current count is 3611, though I'm sure there is some I'm overlooking that can be squeezed out. I may do a tally of the best currently possible in SP, showing my math of course.

And no, I don't mean that sticky post, because it's either the result of a miscalculation, or they simply dismiss the "deep breath" snippet and consider that the basic access to the RGB is achieving all endings.

The Origin EULA allows Electronic Arts to scan the contentns of a user's entire hard drive. For that reason, I will never install Origin, nor will I ever purchase any Electronic Arts computer application.

If you believe that your statement justifies lies issued by BioWare, then you are mistaken.

You have still not actually vindicated BioWare's evidently false statements. That video footage may be found on YouTube does not render BioWare's claim that the "best" ending may be attained without use of multiplayer true when it is demonstrably not.

After 4 years the endings weren't worth the time and with the multi-player shooter they made ME1 and ME2 useless to ME3.My Sheps dialog was more or less my choice.till now.

Lower the Required EMS and make it so if you do the N7 missions you don't have to play the multiplayer and vice-versa.

5037 isn't even the 2800 required for having all 3 choices.

I was not even to Thessia yet and have 6337 TMS. It seems that you missed several quests.Fuzzfro wrote...
I did all the missions and sidequests aswell as a lot of those little misc objectives on the citadel and I made all the right decisions (I think) and yet I'm still only 5037 TMS.
