any gamers in the UK, you may actually be entitled to a full refund (possibly even for digital purchases, although this lacks precedent) under the sale of goods act:
http://www.legislati...k/ukpga/1979/54
this act states that if a product is falsly advertised or described, as it was when it was stated that different choices will lead to different endings. As is, the product did not match up to the desription, or the reptation that was set up by the former two games.
I would also like to add that changing the ending does not make this better. nothing was as expected. where where the characters that we had grown to love over the first two games, where was Gianna? Where was Emily Wong? Why where the ME2 LIs handled so appalingly? Why was nearly all the dialogue pre-scripted, with whole conversations with no user input? The whole product is unfit for purpose.
so, go for refunds, use every right we have as consumers to make sure that bioware, and EA, know that this blatent disregard for fans is unacceptable. Idevidually we cannot succed, but together, if enough people demand refunds, and use legal methods such as the sale of goods act, we WILL win, much like shepard should have won against the reapers!
I do not know how consumer laws work outside the UK, whether you all have equivelants to the sale of goods act, but request. no, demand! refunds as well. Use any powers your governmant gives you as consumers to show that this is unacceptable.
