After careful consideration of all the options at the end of my first playthrough, my choices lead to an invalid ending.  I recieved the Game Over ending.  Rather than choose between control the Reapers or destroy them, I took the third option... Kill the Catalyst.  By putting a bullet in the head of the Catalyst, the ending I recieved promptly took me to the Game Over screen.  How unexpected.
