As an avid fan of the Wheel of Time series I was wondering if anyone out there considered creating something in that world. I haven't had a chance to check out the toolset yet so this might be a lot harder than renaming some abilities and so forth as a start.
Just wanted to throw that out there.

I have considered, since I started playing it. I thought the Dragon Age magic system could really work with the Wheel of Time concept of having 'limits' to the amount of The Power you could draw upon etc. which was different to standard DnD spellcasting (i.e. memorising spells etc.).
I had some pretty neat ideas about say, only allowing 1 specialisation, but making them more like a prestige class, than an addon (i.e. giving better bonuses and 8 talents/spells, instead of 4), some ones included: Aes Sedai, Ash'aman, Wolfbrother etc.
The only problem is, I really have no idea how to use the Dragon Age toolset, I mucked around with the NWN1 toolset which was actually pretty easy for a novice to get their head around (I even managed to make custom spells and the like), but early forays in the DA:O toolset have only brought headaches and hours wasted.
Additionally for a proper Wheel of Time mod you'd probably need someone who is good at modding/creating textures, off the top of my head an 'eyeless' eye slot for Myrddraal, although there would be a few others (changes to hurlocs to give them tusks, snouts ala Trollocs, the more talented the designer, the closer to the books they could be).
Anyway, it is a major task, I hope that some talented modder/mod-group considers picking it up and running with it, until then....
....wait for WoT game/MMO? hurry up Red Eagle.

Was messing around in the toolset and there's actually a jet-black eye option you can choose that would serve as eyeless.
Really interested in the toolset myself, wish I knew more about it

Well technically the myrddraal are 'eyeless' eyeless, as in, just having skin where eye sockets would be. But yeah, that point is moot, given how difficult the toolset seems to be to work out.
The NWN1 one had a lot of good easy to follow tutorials, but the dragon age one seems way to complicated, you almost have to have done a programming degree just to get it to do the simplest things.
Hopefully in time they will have tutorial sets as easy to follow as they do/did for NWN1, but maybe the toolset itself is just that much more complex.
