I don't like her idea of a 'dying hallucination' though.

The ending is whatever you make of it. It's not that bad of a thing. And if you think it was an hallucination, that doesn't mean you necessarily hate the ending. I'm really leaning toward hallucination, too, but I liked the endings. They've really got me thinking, and I love that Bioware went with such a bold ending

I think the word you were looking for was "lazy".

If it was or if it wasn't a Hallucination i'm still very confused. Why was the Normandy flying away from the battle? Joker, VS, and the Prothean emerged after the crash, so I take it they lived if it wasn't a Hallucination, but what about the rest? wheres garrus? I had Garrus and the VS with me on the final mission? did they charge towards the beam of light with me? did they die? was it just Anderson and myself with some Randoms?
I don't hate the endings, I just have mixed feelings, and I am very confused.
Also the Catalyst is bleh, "if you destroy the reapers your children will make AI and the cycle will continue" spare me please, thats just a risk we have to take, I'll choose free will every day. Also, since we reached the final area he said the system is broken because we got as far as we did? so, what does that mean?
I am just really confused.

No. Do not justify lazy writing. This ending was 5 years in the making. We deserved more. We were promised more.

What if it was a hallucination, but the hallucination didn't happen when shepard got shot by harby, but rather when he was losing blood and trying to activate the catalyst? Thats what I make of it anyways. He was losing blood, and Hackett needed him to activate it, but Shepard passed/dies out from blood loss, Hallucinated the Catalyst/acension/3 choice thing at the end. If thats the case that would mean the Reapers won. I picked the choice on the right, killed the Reapers at the cost of myself, edi, the Geth, the Mass Relays, and the Citadel.

If you choose destroy, you get a clip of him taking a breath.. on earth... in the rubble you wake up next to after Harbys beam. Or that's what it looked like to me.
I'm sure my mind is grabbing at straws now though to replace the horror it witnessed.

In theory it IS possible that is was an hallucination. Remember the Reaper blast that knocked Shepard and all of Hammer unconscious? What if he died there, what if his soul dreamed about everything after that point?
I can deal with it being a hallucination. And depending on how well prepared you were, either you died from the reaper blast or you survived in order to continue the fight.
And if the whole god-child thing is real after the fact, then I say give me an option to tell the god-child to sod off so I can defeat the reapers my self. Sure there would be heavy casualties but if you're well prepared then at least there would be a bitter sweet ending and a bit of a reunion with those who survived.

It's just hilarious that the entire game you have it drilled into your head that TIM's idea to control the Reapers is misguided and wrong.
And then suddenly HERE IS YOUR PARAGON OPTION CONTROL THE REAPERS TROLOLO.
Technically it's also the only option that won't turn Earth into a barren wasteland for the next thousand years so hey, TIM WAS RIGHT!
You could always go with Space Magic ending...
Which I did because i just did not care any after get that kids broken logic. the was broken my Shepard just jumped...coud not take any more.

But, do they care enough? Or will it just be a "Get over it. *trollface*"?

No... bold was the word I was looking for.
The plot holes fill up a bit if you think of the whole thing as an hallucination, too. Though the Normandy crash landing ends up making a bit less sense... but maybe that was just the final part of Shepard's dream?
I'm still working it through, but as far as the idea of "resetting" civilazation and destroying the relays - I very much like that, despite being very sad about what it means for the future of the series. That's what I mean by bold.
