What is the problem here? Tell him no if you're not into it, and you both go back to celebrating friendship before. Easy?

I'm going to "guess" BioWare doesn't make Kaidan hound you after a rejection, unlike Liara who finds ways to stalk Shepard through most of the ME series.

Look at the BIG picture. People are unhappy mainly because Kaidan's advances come out of NO WHERE. There's no build up and the trigger doesn't even make sense. If it was natural, if the trigger was more obvious and easy to avoid, this thread wouldn't exist. Isn't that a very positive thing?

Back it up. The buildup has been here from the start for queer gamers (and as an afterthought the hetero gamers) who have an interest in MShepard + Kaidan. In ME3 this goes toward making up for lost time. For once, ME devs chose not to exclude/cripple the M/M content out of service for those it is never intended for.

Here's another tidbit. If you still can't take it, then assign him to Hackett. Or rewind so you can get him killed. If only we could've had such fates lined up for Liara at any point in the series. Big picture, remember.

I locked romance with Miranda so it never happened to me. And he is dead in all my other male Shep playthroughs. As far as I'm concerned,he was never gay in any of my games.

I did too but with my FemShep. I had romanced Garrus in ME2 and chose not to romance anyone in the Genesis backstory. Thing is I've used mainly paragon choices when talking to Kaidan so I may of triggered a possible romance, which was completely unintentional and as far as I'm concerned my Shep was just being friendly and acting as a friend would.

Then apparently my Shep was flirting with him when visiting him in the hospital, then he reveals he has feelings for her during their meet up on the Citadel. I was pretty mortified that I may of somehow accidentally cheated on Garrus, thankfully I turned him down and he was cool about it. Despite me being surprised and not wanting that to happen (I was more concerned about a ninjamancing Liara) I find it adds to my story, because things like that DO happen in reality.

Still wished he had acknowledged mine and Garrus' relationship though.

It remains a bromance if you make sure you romanced someone else before it. My female Shepard call him her "brother" when I made sure she romanced Garrus first and told Garrus she loved him. I reloaded it from a save point to see what happened if she didn't tell Garrus she loved him, and got Kaidan making a pass instead of telling Shepard she's a great friend.

Summarry -

Agree to a romance with another character to keep it brother type friendship.

Yes this shocked me to no end! Kaiden should NOT have made a pass at my male Shepard. This detracted from the game, they are friends that's it! Also, In ME1 Kaiden even made a remark when he thought my female Shepard liked Liara, I was just following the paragon path. Kaiden is not supposed to Bi or Gay. Liara and Cortez is enough. I would have like more long lasting male choices for my Female Shepard though. Male Shepard and Tali is a great match and Female Shepard and Garrus, he's the only one to match her strength.
