I have a problem with adding talent points to Shepard. I decided to give myself the last 8 points necessary to max out my power so I did. I loaded up my game, mid-mission, and evolved my powers.

I completed the mission and then I went to the Citadel to turn in the Chemical Treatment then I went to do another mission and my character had 181 talent points (normal amount) and his powers were reset.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you deal with it?

Quick Question: Does anyone know the PlotID for Romanced Kelly?

3817= true will make her show up on the citadel in ME3

I know that. I was wonder if anyone found the PlotID for Romanced Kelly. In ME2 their are two paths you can take with Kelly Friendship or Romance.

I think that 3817 is the romanced. I say that because I had some odd bug on a playthrough where she showed up but was just nice. I did another Shep and did the 3817 to try to get my fish and Kelly was all wanting to touch my Shep and acted all lovey-dovey even though he told Ash she was the only one. Talk about awkward. :)

3817 is just dinner & Feeding your Fish(No Romance). I went back to a save where I never flirted with Kelly, But had dinner with her. 3817 is set to True. However 3828, 3829, 3838 were all set to false, When I romanced Kelly in ME2 all those ID's were set to True. Not sure if 3828, 3829, 3838 has anything to do with Kelly or not. All my choices were extactly the same between the two Playthroughs.

Yeah and when I compared it, the resulting "comparison.txt" file was a veritable pile of gibberish that I couldn't have deciphered if I tried.

It is kind of gibberish-y I agree, but I think I may have a handle on it.

If nobody has done it by tonight and I have time, I will do each squad mate and post them here for people to try. I don't have saves to confirm them myself, unfortunately.

It's possible that a NG+ will be required for some (but I have no idea), since they take place on entire planets of their own (Grunt, for example).I personally have no idea when the game checks for it. With Kasumi's it worked immediately after loading my save, though.

So, if someone has a save before a particular event hang on to it. It takes only seconds to try once you have the number, which I will hopefully be able to provide by this evening (I'm on PST).

I have confirmation through my own research.
Zaeed's Loyalty is linked to variable 192. if 192 is set to false, Zaeed dies up discovery of his presence with Din Korlack; if it is set to true, he survives and becomes a war asset.

Known Loyalty Variables:
182 -> Kasumi Goto
192 -> Zaeed Masani

Since I'm not quite good enough for this, can someone figure out how to change the plot of ME3 so that I got both the Quarians and the Geth fleets and Tali didn't kill herself?

It sounds like it would be quite complicated via boolean variables and such. But if anyone has an idea, that would be cool.... for some reason my imported ME2 game didn't register all the proper variables so I wasn't given the opportunity to get the Quarians and Geth to cooperate. :-(

I found this:
GethPeace, PlotIDSet=(17789), PlotIDClear=(17787,17788)
and make sure that "TaliDead" is set to False (variable 202) and "TaliAlive" is set to true (variable 40). Additionally, Admiralstatus can be given to Tali with Variable 2935 being set to true.

Modified ME2 Save Game Editor has an Open > Compare (little arrow next to the Open icon)... choose the two files and it will output to a txt. look at the Boolean entries towards the bottom. The fewer changes in the saves the more accurate you'll be finding what you want.

Oh well, thanks alot for the answer. But I want to compare ME3 savegames, and ME2 save editor won't compare me3 saves.. :(

KirraheAlive, PlotIDSet=(14464,14459), PlotIDClear=(), PlotInts=(),PlotCond=()
KirraheDead, PlotIDSet=(), PlotIDClear=(14464,14459),PlotInts=(),PlotCond=()

Can anyone confirm this is correct? Kirrahe's flags look different from all the others. Nobody has 2 Alive ID's and no Dead ones, so I'm inclined to believe the second ID is actually for Dead. It was also already set to true in my game in which Kirrahe is, in fact, dead.

This tool is great. Just saved me from going back to ME2 to fix a minor plot decision from making a big one in 3.

thanks

I'm not at my computer right now, but if memory serves, GibbedME3 doesn't have that feature yet.

Here is the list of full squad loyalties. I recommend you also view the existing list for specific mission outcomes (like Maelon's data, etc.). If you want a character loyal in ME3, set the corresponding flag to true in the ME3 editor:

LOYALTIES

Garrus: 183
Grunt: 189
Jack: 179
Jacob: 178
Kasumi: 182
Legion: 180
Miranda: 177
Mordin: 188
Samara: 191
Tali: 186
Thane: 185
Zaeed: 192

Boom.

These are taken from the official GibbedME3 FAQ... so yes, they are.

Kirrahe is Alive:Set to true (14464,14459)
Kirrahe is Dead (None. Opposite, I guess.)

I have a question with the romance variables.

I set Jack romanced 5208 to true and Tali romanced 3926 to true. but although i got a slightly different jack talk when speaking to her at grissom academy when on the citadel i never got the reaffirm romance option. Same with Tali when i met her on the normandy after meeting the admirals.

Did i miss some other variable? the pastebin list does not have any other variable listed

Well.... first off, was the "romance" with Jack a thing, or a fling? ;)

I think i can answer that the game isn't made for you to romance two people in one playthough (unless it is LoTSb Romance or Romance with Kelly) so it canceled out the romance and For when I romanced tali in ME3 she didn't come up to my cabin until the final assualt for jack her romance maybe long distance lie miranda's

Hi, first off, thanks for this! Not to be a pain, but is could you attach a screenshot of where this is? I've played with the Editor but don't know it too well. THank you either way.

In the ME3 editor you have to go to the Raw Tab, open the Plot section, then find the Bool Variables subsection. Click on it and open it with the button on the right with the three dots. Scroll until you get to entry 3817 and change it from True to False, or vice versa.

In case you want to do it with the ME2 editor:
For ME2 (if you want to import a save) you go to the Raw tab, find the Plot section, then the ME2 Plot Table. Near the bottom of that section there should be an entry labeled Bool Variables. Open that with the little button with tht three dots. Now just scroll until you get to entry 3817 and change it from True to False, or vice versa.

Thanks, that did the trick! You rock!

Must say I liked Zaeed's camo in the game. His reaction when he hears Korlack is talking to Shepard is priceless.

Getting freaky with Jack in engineering is considered a fling and doesn't stop you from a relationship in ME2. you could still persue tali (or whomever) after that. And if you chose Liara in ME1, you could get her back in LotSB.
Ya big pimp.
