How do you add Garrus, Tali, and Ashley as "recruited" and available as squadmates earlier in the game?
Also, do they actually have dialog during earlier missions ala ME2?
Thanks

Anyone know how to change squad mate powers?
I thought you could do that in the med-bay?
You can reset their powers and change Shepard's bonus power, but you can't change squadmate powers without modding.

As someone else said, i'm not looking to reset thier powers or change my bonus power.
I want to mod Ashley with Barrier and Reave to make her more like my sweetheart Miranda. I have been looking thru the coalesced file for where squad mates are stored and either increase thier max number of powers or change a couple out. And this time around Ashley is looking great.
Atm I have not been able to find any info on squad mates in the coalesced. Nor does modding thier power set in the save file do anything as the changes arent accepted.

Traynor True Romance
Kelly Chambers Romanced in ME2 (not the fish, the variable where she gives you her pendant with her picture in it)

is there a way to simply ditch ashley and change her character for miranda... even if miri talks like ashley. I'd totally dig that

Last time i tried it they didnt have the stats? ive tried adding the Terminus game effects to both the 'empty' shoulders (to use with the full armors) and to the visor i had equipped but i just cant get the Terminus armor stats to work on anything other than the original armor (with non-removable helmet)
According to the wiki all you need to do is add the 'game effect' line to a peice of armor and it gets those stats...so what am i doing wrong?

ok it seems the bonuses do apply but they dont show up in the armor screen (but they show up in combat)....also found a way to set them up so the helmet-less version only shows up after you buy/get the full version...so you start out with helmet-less Defender and Reckoning (if you have them), but cant get the others until you buy them from the shops
this way it doesnt feel like im cheating...can post a tutorial if people want....but it uses the C.bin editor not gibbed...there was a mod for it but it gets overwritten with any patch

How do I change the romance values for Mass Effect 2 with the ME3 editor?
(Don't think I can really change those values in the ME2 editor either now that I think about it)

You can paste the following codes into either "HED_Brow" or "HED_Addon" in the Raw>Player>Appearance>Headmorph>Texture Parameters menu. This way you may use any combination of two beards (or eyebrows) that you want.
Note: if your facial hair is black putting one beard over another makes it extremely dark, which some people might not like as your eyebrows might look very light in comparison.
-Beard Codes
Beards from ME2 characters, have eyebrows "built-in":
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.HMM_HED_PRO_Add1 Pressly's beard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.HMM_HED_PRO_Add2 Aresh's beard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.HMM_HED_PRO_Add3 Wilson's beard (full stubble, not goatee)
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.HMM_HED_PRO_Add4 Vido's beard
Default beard codes are:
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Stubble
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_5oclock
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_BikerChops
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ChinChops
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ChinStrap
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Mustache
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Pirate
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_SChn
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ScruffyGoat
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_SideBurns
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_SoulPtchLong
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_SoulPtchShort
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Spaniard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ThinMustache
Same as the ME2 ones, except these have no eyebrows:
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Add1 Pressley's beard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Add2 Aresh's beard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Add3 Wilson's beard
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Beard.Custom.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Add4 Vido's beard
-Eyebrow codes
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ArchedBrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Bushybrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_FatBrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_FuzzyBrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_ThickBrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Brow.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Unibrow
BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Base.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Blank_Norm
-Advanced Modding
If you'd like to use one of the beard/brow combos without having custom brows interfere you can give yourself blank brows.
In the "HED_Brow" line add: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Base.HMM_HED_PROCustom_Blank_Norm
You can also change how dark or light your facial hair appears by changing the value of "HED_Addn_Blowout_Scalar" in the Raw>Player>Appearance>Headmorph>Scalar Parameters menu.
These values increase in increments of .5 and can be set as high or as low you like. The default is usually "1.15"
To make beard/brow combos appear darker and more natural set the value to something between "1.6 - 1.8"
Examples
Pic of my one of my Shepards with Pressley's beard and custom "Fat Brow" eyebrows.

Using both Aresh and Pressley's brow/beard combos.

(Bad) Pic of what the default custom beards look like in-game:

Could somebody help me with changing my save so I can convince TIM to kill himself? I've tried following that guide that says you have to change the value of index 10665 to 7, but the index isn't on my Int Variables list :S. I've tried adding it manually but that doesn't seem to work either. Am I missing something?
Thanks
You have to pick Paragon/Renegade whenever talking to the Illusive Man, you have to start back at mars

PC version ME2, already played game few times, am now trying first time
to use the Gibbed Editor to import new custom facecode from the ME2
faces database site. I have read few times about how its done but it
never works for me, so obviously my drunken brain is missing something.
I open up the save game i want , clicked on toolbox tab and then import
option, then it opens up in the faces folder i created earlier when i
had to create an export face , but how do i get a new face ? I have
lots of face codes that i want to use but how do i get them into faces
folder so i can import them into the save game ?
I have also
tried the method of opening up the tabs Raw - Player - Facecode and
copy/pasted the new code i want , then clicked the floppydisk type icon
to save it to the exact savegame i want, but when i load up actual save
game to play, i still have the original normal face, even though when i
look back into the Gibbed Editor the actual new face code is showing .
I must be doing something wrong , can anyone please help

So, I used the latest version of the editor to try to add additional casual outfits (by checking the box next to 'Debug' under Plot > Mass Effect 3 > Armor > Flags), and it corrupted the save file. Is there anything else I was supposed to do besides checking the box, or is this function currently broken?

The save editor cannot do anything permanently damaging to the game, all it does is edit save data, it does not touch game data at all.Firestorm1980 wrote...
Guys, I think this editor is bugged. When i go to change my stats with it and restart the game, I dont have the use/pickup option anymore. It does something to the game to where even if i create a new game, I still have that problem. I have to uninstall/reinstall the game, then start a new game.
Heres what im talking about.
