Thanks, that makes me a happy camper. Now if I could just get back the 2+ hours I spent futzing with variables and reloading old saves to test the results...

EDIT:  Bah, BoolVariable 3817 not IntVariable my bad.

How do we add talent points to shepard? Everytime I try it just resets after the start of the level. Is there anyway to do this for xbox 360 saves?

You can't. They reset every time you enter a new area. Even on PC you either have to mod your Coalesced.bin to increase the amount of talent points allowed per level or add a key bind that re-adds the maxed power(s).

So, anyone have a bool list composed yet?

Also, to kill Wrex on Virmire or not to... Although, I have to say, I like the dialogue between Garrus about making peace between the Krogan and Turians, then Geth and Quarians.

Saint Shepard has a nice ring to it.

Edit:  What bool am I editing to make Wrex live or die on Virmire?  Also, what else should I change, I'm past Surkesh.  I know the game may glitch, corrupt, or vomit on the way if I edit this.

Also, we should probably petition to get this moved to Gameplay.  The majority of this topic is about gameplay changes, not discussing how someone talks in Soap Dialogue.

I'm sorry, I need a little help. In the first link, what exactly are all the options there? Not sure which to DL and what they all are.

3.1. Set Wrex as dead

I used the Centurion.me3appearance preset in the editor. I'd like to keep those scars, but remove the bruising.
I can't even turn the scars red, they stay blue whatever color I choose in Scar_Color or Light_Scar_Color...

But, does anyone know how to get rid of the bruising on his face?
Or is the bruising part of the scars texture? In that case, damn it. :o

You can delete the bruising by going into the textures, and modifying the HED_Diff. Yours will show BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Centurion.HMM_HED_PROCenturion_Face_Diff, but if you change that to one of your "normal" faces such as BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_HED_PROShepard_Face_Diff, the bruising will be gone and the scars will remain. I haven't found a way yet to change the color from blue, but it is probably a scalar setting somewhere if it is possible.

I've spent a ton of time changing and eliminating various textures, scalars, vectors, etc, so that should work. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll recheck my saves...

Thankyou for the help!

I used "BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.PROShepard.HMF_HED_PROShepard_Face_Diff" as you posted. I have no idea what others there could be to use.

The results are... well I can't stop laughing at this..

Maybe I'll keep the bruises after all if there's no better way.

Well.... that is from my Femshep. Maybe there's a different one for males?  Posted Image

Do you have a regular male Shep without the scars, ect, maybe one that you created before you tried adding the centurian eyes? You can try the HED_Diff from that one if so. You can also try deleting that HED_Diff line alltogether from the textures and see what happens...

Haha, well of course, how stupid of me! :pinched:
Looks like my default code was: BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Diffuse.HMM_HED_PROMorph_Rough_Face_Diff
Works nice now! I'll try and figure out how to get the scars red, I doubt I'll find it but anyways. Useful, but kind of hard to use this gibbed's excellent tool.

Thanks again johndoe.

Has anyone figured out how to use the Kaiden/Sheploo textures properly? Is there any way at all we can make good looking male sheps? Or is it a lost cause?

saveedit-r85_b107.zip is the most recent save editor.

audioextract is for extracting audio if you want to (guide).

coalesce is for editing the Coalesced.bin

Does anybody know what hair mesh Bailey uses? He uses Sarge Spike 2, which was removed from the CC and I need it for my character, but he's not using the Sarge Spike 2 hair mesh. I can't figure out what it is.

Otherwise, does anybody know where NPC info is kept in the ME3 files? Like where does it say what textures and meshes each NPC uses and such? Perhaps I can look around in the game files and find Bailey.

Somehow recruiting Eclipse has glitched. I spoke to the salarian and convinced him to lead the group but the quest is still showing as unfinished and he isn't selectable any more.

Does anyone know quest number?

Hi there.
I tried changing my Sheps face (well adjusting is maybe a more proper way of saying this).
Created a new one, modeled the face to my liking and then exported the facemorph with the save editor. Then I tried to import it from file into one of my existing saves. And nothing changed. Nada, nothing at all. It's still the same face code when I check it.

Did I do something wrong? What's the current consensus on how to change the facial features?

I would appreciate some help with that :)

I saw a few pages back that someone posted a fix, but it only works if Kaidan lived. If Ashley is alive you'll just have to get her to be your friend again (seeing her in the hospital, giving her the right gift, and inviting her back to the Normandy etc.).

Hi guys, I'm really hoping you can help me. I'm trying to recreated the following face in ME3:

http://www.masseffec....php?faceID=564

It was my canon-Shep throughout ME2. But when I import into ME3 the natural red hair is gone, as is the makeup. I'd like to restore the makeup and give her the same hair colour as the default femshep in ME3.

I've tried this. I had one save open (in Gibbed) with the imported look (with some one of the 'fake' red hair colours) and one with the default femshep. And tried changing the hair colour values of the former to match the latter. But when I checked it out in-game she seemed to have the same 'fake' red and her eyebrows were a very light pink/purple, and the makeup gone. When I took the save back to Gibbed it seemed that certain values/vector had reset or were different from what I'd actually changed them to.

I just wonder if someone knows what I'm doing wrong or how exactly to accomplish this? They're 360 saves and I'm used to editing plot stuff and attributes but I'm new to the headmorph stuff. Please, if anyone can help me get my canon-shep back I'd be VERY grateful!

Thanks.

P.S. Does anyone know how to lower the lip gloss on the default femshep?

Uh, you have the facecode so just import your save, choose custom appearance, type in the facecode, and modify until it's exactly what you want.

EDIT: Anyone know what the 'blonde' setting is for?

Also, I've got the hair to be the right colour but the eyebrows are really light (they're set to the exact same colour settings as the hair but they're REALLY light). Could it be tied to the 'blonde' setting? Anyone know? It's pretty much the only thing I need to fix, so if you can, please help!
