So, having finally seen my Romance with Tali right the way through, I was finally rewarded with the answer to one of the big questions - just what does she look like under that suit.

Having looked at the picture, my response can be summed up like this- - I am SO glad I romanced Tali. I know some people will probably hate the fact that you can only see what she looks like in a picture, but I don't care. I finally have been able to see just what the woman I've been desperate to win over since the very first game was released looks like, and that is more than enough for me.

What do others think?  Do you agree that the pic was enough, or do you think they should've gone further? Interested to hear what you all think.

The pic was a stock photo taken by somebody else. Expect people to rage over that in this thread.

Anyway, I romanced Liara, and it was the single best love scene created in a videogame. Finally, Bioware got it right. I'm proud of 'em.

I was like the thread starter while playing the game. Then I came to the forums and saw the photoshopped google images for Tali and for the Epilogue....

Pissed doesn't even begin to describe it.

but there is still the issue it was a basic photoshop job.


I'm just sad that Tali is now stuck on some garden planet in the middle of nowhere with no way to get home.at least not in her lifetime.

Yes, I did realise it was a stock photo, but i don't care. The way that it built up to it, was perfect in my book. The picture frame was a clever, subtle touch that made me glad I stayed loyal to Tali.

I was very pleased with Tali as a love interest but when I found out her picture was taken from the internet (just like 'Winter Space') I felt a bit disappointed. Was it really that hard to make an original work?

If the endings weren't so bad... then i would kinda annoyed by this but the endings are so god awful bad that the Photoshop job is cool by me..

plus the stock model is freaking beautiful so... yeah whatever.

I wish they would have contracted some fan artist and had them do Tali's picture instead. I'm not overly upset with the image, but I think a fan artist could do much better (and keep quarian proportions in-tact as well).

Would have been better to reveal her face after you stop the Geth/Quarian war on her home planet using in-game graphics.

I have never seen a picture of Tali, taht frame is definitely fake and if someone wants to tell me otherwise, I will be rocking back and forth in my corner over here in depression, kay?

Using a picture of a model to use for tali's picture doesn't really bother me considering things similar have been done over and over throughout video game content for characters. I though the picture itself looked fine, except maybe the fact her skin tone was a little too "Caucasian Female" and not enough alien.

I really loved how close Tali and Shepard grew during ME3. Getting her planet back and making peace with the Geth. Having her tell Shepard that she would always support him. I really feel like they nailed that romance.
Dont care much about the picture, the show/dont show her face problem is damn near impossible to solve. And its not really that much of a problem to ignore a small foto in your cabin. I have my own image of how Tali looks and thats imo how it should be : )

Exactly, it was great to watch the romance that started with Sheppard saving Tali in ME1 fully develop in ME3. Bioware played their cards perfectly with that romance.

This As for the tali thing. I couldn't help but laugh. I felt sad for one of my friends who was a die hard tali fan to get a badly shopped stock photo.

THIS is how I will always imagine Tali to look like. Maybe it's a little too human, but then so are the Asari.

I think this is beautifully done.

It looks like **** though compared to some fan art.

If they were gonna photoshop a human why didn't they have their own photo shoot, or better yet make an actual 3D face model that you get to see in the final romance scene and you get a picture of that instead of that crappy photoshop job.

guess i have to start an entirely new playthrhough then.

This is pretty much how I see Tali too. That picture has been my desktop for aaaaages
She looks as cute as she sounds and acts in that picture

The Tali romance sub-plot was well-handled and a definite high point for the game, but it still hangs under the shadow of the ending with the rest of the trilogy.

Well, you have to romance her in Mass Effect 2 first.

That's what Tali will always look like in my book. If I knew what file was associated in the game files with that upsetting stock photo i'd go in and change it to that, too.
