One of the best games I had ever played.
If you IGNORE THE ENDING, what are your thoughts on ME3?

Have to agree with OP, aside from the last 10 minutes, it was the best game I've ever played.

One of the greatest games I've ever played until you're carried up on that lift and completely unravels.

I would give it a 90 of 100
- Sometimes it lacks cinematic dialogues
- The muddy textures
- some minor things
But with these endings... far from reaching the 90

I like all mass effect, the third was epic as long as you need to take back the earth. The last mission is sloppy, no choices whatsoever for the war. Still dialogues were awesome (The last one with garrus was, probably, the best of the whole game).
I can't really think mass effect as different games, to me that's a single massive adventure, The third is amazing and extremely engaging just like the other two.

One of the best games I had ever played. Was planning my next couple of play throughs.
Then I came to the end and didn't feel that way anymore.

Excluding the endings...
It was the best Mass Effect, what makes it the best game I have ever played.

Best game ever. Until the ending poisoned the franchise. Wow. I didn't think they could kill my interest in the Mass Effect universe. They succeeded.

ignoring the ending...
"HOLY **** THAT WAS GREAT"
Everything was hitting the all cylinders.. the battle to take back the Homeworld, Hoping off the hover craft and saying " Enough is enough if we don't make a stand now we'll always be running" So many great moments.. this has been one of the best games and RPGS I have played in while..
With the endings...
*flips table*
all the needs to be said.

I actually think it's when you find out the Citadel was taken.
It's a fantastic game... up until that moment.

Without the ending?
Possibly the greatest game I've played this last decade.

It was the greatest game of all time in my mind. Until Shepard was lifted up in a beam of light to a god child who controls the entire universe and told you have to destroy the universe to save it.

this game is the best game I ever played there are so many epic moments and good story telling in there and the action parts is actually fun (must say I even enjoy the multiplayer part something I usally don't)....lets just pretend the ending never happend shall we?

I did actually ignore the ending literally. I listened to the blue kid, all choices not acceptable, I tried out the control ending and turned it off after 3 seconds. Apart from the ending it is the best game I have ever played, but that ending really ruins the memories of the gaming experience.

8,5/10 easily. A bit to much fetching, there are some issues with animations and texture work, and some of the writing could use a bit more time in the cooker. Other than that, the game is a great ride.

Exept the ending - best game of the some last years. I even think that it's best multimedia entertainment of last years.

Disregarding the end? Absolutely the best game I've ever played.
But the ending really just taints the entire series.

I thought it was some of the best writing and cinematics I have ever seen in a game. Then it is like the stopped work after you leave Anderson's headquarters and told some random maintenance guy to fininsh the game. (Nothing against maintenance guys.) My problem with the ending is not that Shepard died, my problem is it rendered all the story arcs in the series meaningless and confusing. Just like they did not care about the ending of the final game of a trilogy.

If I ignore the ending it's best game in series (however ME1 still has best plot, but worst gameplay).
Emotions, choices, epic scale, gritty atmosphere, end-of-days mood makes ME3 most amazing game of trilogy.
That is only if you ignore the ending and/or come up with your own. http://i.imgur.com/mnK7s.jpg

Brillant. It's equal to Mass Effect and may even challenge New Vega's as my favorite game of all time. Counting the ending though? It's like a gift. A gift that makes you care about it, love every minute of it and even make you cry a bit at it. However the gift (which succeded two other gifts one fantastic one still decent enough) after two days leaves you confused and disheartened.
Weird analogy? Maybe. But I'm in a weird state of mind jus now.

I really enjoyed it, I was super addicted, I played the Demo every day and listened to the sound track before bed. I got the game and felt that it had the potential to make me replay the entire series front to back just to see the other endings.
Then it all felt pointless.

Leaving out the ending, it is a great game that lives up to Bioware's name,
That being said it didn't capture the imagination like ME1 did, but thats expected from the third game in a trilogy.

ME3 is pretty damn awesome. Literally couldn't put it down for nigh 30 hours I enjoyed it so much.
Don't even mind the endings THAT much. My main gripe is the lack of an epilogue
