What if Shepard was just knocked out cold from Harbinger's laser and dreamed the rest? The following things make me believe this:

- All the various signs indicating it was a dream (unlimited ammo, loads of bodies in a place that wasn't even inhabited by people, TIM being Saren V2, the 'God kid', etc.).
- The fact Shepard is shown waking up in some sort of rubble, alive. I believe this is back on Earth as he wakes up from being KO'd by Harbinger. It can't have been otherwise seeing as the Citadel blows up and he can't survive in space like that.

Either way, whether my theory is true or not, obviously Gamble is up to something that indicates this isn't the real ending or at least something that defies all our rage.

Your thoughts?

im gonna be seriously pissed but awed if they come like two weeks from now with a free DLC that gives the true end as if it was a vision just to stir **** up with us

To be honest, I believe this is just his reaction to the massive negative feedback from the most dedicated fanbase. It's just a PR way of saying, "Yeah we screwed up, but we'll pretend we had plans from the start".

That's pretty old, and a lot of us have already gone over the "it's a dream" idea. But yeah. This is the gist of it.

Better than nothing, no?

Possible. Either way it's better to have those 'amazing plans' put in motion now instead of nothing being done and all of us feeling like ****.

I haven't seen any posts/threads about this tweet. To be honest it gives some hope.

I'm afraid that's standard PR flak. Or a teaser to sell some DLC to maybe let us buy an ending that isn't a miserable Star Child plot device railroading. I appreciate the thougth, Cheif Martini, but don't get your hopes up too high.

There have been a couple threads suggesting this. Some part of me, that my brain wants to ignore, hopes this is true.

Or they think we're all going to buy the Omega DLC anyway, because it's so epic and awesome ... :P I find myself in the uncomfortable position of dearly hoping that I paid 80 dollars to get punk'd.

The fact that we're actually hoping for an "it was all a dream" ending is a clear sign that the ending was messed up.

"Pay for DLC to fix the mess!"
How about no.

This kick in the teeth was big enough that its gone beyond repair. Especially if they expect you to PAY to fix it.

I would actually rather them replace the entire sequence after the Illusive Man than just make up a "dream sequence" excuse. I could accept so many of these alternate endings players think up if BioWare made them official.

I'm at a mix between "This would be the most epic thing ever" and "Wow holy **** we are some desperate ****s". XD but I love it.

My Shepard got vapourised, there was no waking for any rubble. Pretty sure there's not enough glue in the world....

This only makes things worse. No need for the emotionally abusive ending if it was the case. It's like killing flies with a shotgun.

If it indeed was a dream, then it means that we are left with absolutely no ending? I dont know whats worse

I hope it's the teaser then.

Better than the current colour-filled ending.

Thanks. This thread is also about the tweet though.

Let's hope it's free then.

Which is why most of us are guessing that their 'plans' are patch/DLC material for the endings.

Yeah that's old news and that type of comment is only to hold things off till the come up with what to do about this and come up with some scripted molded response later.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

Chief, because that would imply they did this on purpose. Why would they release the proper ending aftwewards? Are we test subjects? Some people had a hard time with the current endings, I don't see the need to hurt people's feelings if this is not the ending.

I'm just confused about this whole thing. Oh well I guess time will tell.
