I would be happy if I even took a second to pause instead of just stepping over her dead body on the way to the light.

Please. All I wanted was for my FemShep to retire and live a happy life with Garrus.

Most definitely. I don't get people who like doom and gloom endings. I have enough problems in life, I play to escape reality, to be drawn into a world with beauty, adventure, all things fantastical. I want that, but let there be choices for all the gloomy gus' out there.

I certainly want the option. That's what Shepard's been fighting for for three games, not to save some nameless NPCs about whom I honestly couldn't give two ****s about. Just changing that alone wouldn't be enough to make the ending good (not by a long shot), but it would still go a long way.

This topic is for those who would like this type of ending to at least be a possibility.  This is not for those people who think it's unreasonable to expect it or think us supposed "Disney-ending, sunshine and rainbows" people are somehow less than they are because we hold a different view of OUR Shepards from theirs.

I'm curious to see just how many people think the same as I do.

Honestly, the LI's through-out the ME series is something that has really bolstered down my desire to play the game. So hell yes. Definetly not the only option and maybe not so easy to get (absolute max war assets). But yes, needs to be incorporated in some way.
Personally I feel if anyone agrees with their current ending, then they haven't invested as much time into ME as some others.

Would I like one? Yes.

Do I think that it is necessary in order to fix the ending? No. I just want an ending that fits and allows the universe to persist, even if Shepard dies.

Not as such. I think the romance sub-plot was handled well and I felt satisfied without it overtaking Mass Effect as a whole.

I would have definitely preferred letting the romance overtake the ending than the Star Child and his deus ex machina, thrill-killing choices though.

Then again, since I feel a "Perfect" ending should entail Shepard reuniting with his/her companions, I guess there is no reason why not to let the game fade to black with him embracing his LI while looking out in the horizon.

Ugh... read my sig. Rocker babies...

I could take Shep sacraficing himself if I didn't have enough war assets. All options on the table plx.

Yes I would like that, and the mass relays being preserved as well so it is actually a victory.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

Technically, he/she can live. A short scene with him/her getting comforted/treated by their LI would be nice, though.

Yup I'd like this

Exactly.  We're not wanting to deny anyone who likes the grim, sad endings from having them.  By all means, those are choices that should most definitely be there.

Is it really that threatening for some of us to ask for happier ones?  It wouldn't affect you at all.

I would love to have an ending with FemShep and Liara.
We need other endings too of course, but every ME has had a "happy" ending option. Even DA:O and DA2 had options where you could end ((even after heavy losses)) and be with your LI.

My heart was crushed when Shepard and Liara were seperated. In all truth, the 'destroy' ending would've been fine with me as long as Shepard was on the Normandy together with the entire crew and Liara, crashing down on the unknown, peacefull and inhabitable jungle planet.

A proper retirement at least.

I'd easily pay another $60 for this as much as it sickens me to admit that.

Yes, this type of ending would be the most emotionally satisfying for me.

I don't expect a happy sunshine-and-rainbows type ending with Kaidan, but if they can just somehow be together at the end, I will be 100% happier about all this ending madness.

The world is doom and gloom everyday, where real people are unemployed, uninsured, uninspired and damn well frightened about their future. We play games to get away from the real world for a time, I need a happy ending...I want hope and love and forgiveness and redemption. I want to have that CHOICE...my actions in the first 2 games were leading to this, why did you take it from me...those that want to still blow themselves up can...just give me OPTION 4.

See, here's what I don't get. I want my happy ending, but I want it to be an option, and I want to work for it. I want everyone to have an ending closest to what they desire.
The grimdark parade on the other hand want their ending, but they want me to be beholden to it too. Why? Why does it affect them?
