Yes I want that. I would be willing to pay Bioware any amount of money they wanted to charge for a DLC that gave you that option.

I would. But I'd like a ME2-ish ending even more, where depending on your choices and how well you prepared yourself you could get anything from catastrophic disaster to flawless victory.
You pretty much summed up everything I was expecting (and wanted) out of ME3. ME2 was the prefect "prototype" for this case. That, and the chance for Shepard to live out his final days in peace with his love interest (Tali always

This topic is for those who would like this type of ending to at least be a possibility. This is not for those people who think it's unreasonable to expect it or think us supposed "Disney-ending, sunshine and rainbows" people are somehow less than they are because we hold a different view of OUR Shepards from theirs.
I'm curious to see just how many people think the same as I do.
I'd love it, but thanks to BioWare completely **** raping Thane fans, it isn't freaking possible unless they rewrite that portion of the game and Thane magically survived his death.
That said, I'm being forced to write fanfic where they meet up on the other side and he's waiting for her dead ass to join him. At least they can be together that way, I suppose.

ending dlc. As it says when you finish the game "You can add to this
legend [of Shepard] with dlc" which was a total slap in the face.
Seriously, Bioware are you so heartless that you won't let us enjoy an ending
that I think we all have earned? Only thing we can hope for is there is
enough outcry from this that everyone will get closure on the story
and their romantic partner ((Tali being another hurtful action)) Liara
being my LI.

There needs to be an ending for every scenario. Just like in ME2. As it stands theres no "good" or "bad" ending just the middle ground ones where the realys and shepard get ****ed with no explanation.

At least as an option so one run through...be with LI. Next run through...sod it, wipe out everything.

I mean come on, we busted our butts by doing all side quests, doing all paragon options, and spending time with your squad and LI. And if your LI is someone you've been with since ME1, there should be a reward for that; again, especially if you did everything right up to the ending.
The ending to ME2 proves that a concept like that can work. If you did the loyalty missions, upgraded the ship, leave immediately to rescue the Normandy crew, and choose the right squad mates for certain tasks then you will get the best possible ending where everyone survives along with accomplishing your main goal. And ME2 was pretty damn dark as it constantly reminds you that you may not come back alive.

And don't make it a sarcastic "here you go you crybaby" type ending, put some work and effort into it Win me back and repair the pain you've caused me Bioware.
