Yes I want that. I would be willing to pay Bioware any amount of money they wanted to charge for a DLC that gave you that option.

I would. But I'd like a ME2-ish ending even more, where depending on your choices and how well you prepared yourself you could get anything from catastrophic disaster to flawless victory.

You pretty much summed up everything I was expecting (and wanted) out of ME3. ME2 was the prefect "prototype" for this case.  That, and the chance for Shepard to live out his final days in peace with his love interest (Tali always :) ).

This topic is for those who would like this type of ending to at least be a possibility.  This is not for those people who think it's unreasonable to expect it or think us supposed "Disney-ending, sunshine and rainbows" people are somehow less than they are because we hold a different view of OUR Shepards from theirs.

I'm curious to see just how many people think the same as I do.

I'd love it, but thanks to BioWare completely **** raping Thane fans, it isn't freaking possible unless they rewrite that portion of the game and Thane magically survived his death.

That said, I'm being forced to write fanfic where they meet up on the other side and he's waiting for her dead ass to join him. At least they can be together that way, I suppose.

I do because that was what my Shepard was fighting for. Everyone and a chance to be with her LI (Kaidan) again. She didn't die the first around just to die again. Screw that.

Sadly, I have the highest doubt that BioWare will release a "Closure"
ending dlc. As it says when you finish the game "You can add to this
legend [of Shepard] with dlc" which was a total slap in the face.
Seriously, Bioware are you so heartless that you won't let us enjoy an ending
that I think we all have earned? Only thing we can hope for is there is
enough outcry from this that everyone will get closure on the story
and their romantic partner ((Tali being another hurtful action)) Liara
being my LI.

I don't know why this wasn't possible. It should be hard to attain, but still possible. I mean I had 7200 war assets with 100% readiness and received the same ending as someone with 4000. The ending should have been more like Mass Effect 2. War Assets should have determined the fate of crew members, Anderson, Hackett, the Destiny Ascencion, the Fleets, the Normandy, Primarch Victus, London, Earth, the Love Interest, and--ultimately--Shepard.

There needs to be an ending for every scenario. Just like in ME2. As it stands theres no "good" or "bad" ending just the middle ground ones where the realys and shepard get ****ed with no explanation.

I would also like this kind of ending, especially with the hallucination idea. Say your shepard gasps for air and your LI / other squad mate you brought helps dig you out of the rumble, though they are badly injured them selves and drag you out, then have a cut scene where Shepard is doubting every thing like "I did every thing I could and it's still not enough..." then have more DLC of earth side missions to get that dramatic yet happy ending where your left standing with some/ most of your crew

Yeah. Damn it!

At least as an option so one run through...be with LI. Next run through...sod it, wipe out everything.

This.
I mean come on, we busted our butts by doing all side quests, doing all paragon options, and spending time with your squad and LI. And if your LI is someone you've been with since ME1, there should be a reward for that; again, especially if you did everything right up to the ending.

The ending to ME2 proves that a concept like that can work. If you did the loyalty missions, upgraded the ship, leave immediately to rescue the Normandy crew, and choose the right squad mates for certain tasks then you will get the best possible ending where everyone survives along with accomplishing your main goal. And ME2 was pretty damn dark as it constantly reminds you that you may not come back alive.

Yea!! This was the kind of ending I was going for. I had imagined a Star Wars New Hope kind of ending, and then showing what happened with everyone after, like Jacob becoming and father, and hell, Wrex aswell :D And ofc, most importantly, my Shepard and Liara

As unlikely as the prospect may be, I would love for this kind of ending to be possible.  Hell, I'd even dish out the money to buy it!  I'll not be holding my breath, though.

I really do want that!!! I beat the game last night and chose the synthesis option. That line from Tali keeps replaying in my mind. "I wanted more time."

Yes I want this. I want my Shepard to finally settle down with Jack and start a family on Earth, despite Jack's psychotic nature.

Yes, I need an ending with Shepard living happily ever after... there's more than enough despair/depression/heartache IRL

And don't make it a sarcastic "here you go you crybaby" type ending, put some work and effort into it Win me back and repair the pain you've caused me Bioware.
