I don't care about living or love interests. I just want an ending that makes sense.
Who would like an ending where Shepard lives and can be with his/her LI?

I'll take anything at this point that doesn't involve me wailing in anguish, strewn across the living room floor.

After hundreds of hours of playing all three - I want Shep happy with lots of little blue children - the ending left me angry and depressed...- A re-run. Saren - shot himself - Illusive man - shoots himself - paragon choice is to control the reapers - bizzare, Renegade choice is the destroy the reapers - explode the mass effect relays (which supposedly can wipe out an entire system!) Joker is flying away from Shepard to some unknown utopic planet - as if Joker would abandon Shepard. Liara looks happy as she leave the Normandy - but she was devo for two years the first time Shepard died - Synthesis works on one level but why would Shepard kill him/herself when he/she had "someone special to come back too - we finally get the "I love you" and you give us these endings which are just not congruenct - oh for Goodness sake Bioware - fit this please/

I'd love for this to be an option along with an ending similar to the first Star Wars and an ending where you sacrifice yourself but are honored for your sacrifice. I'd be willing to pay some money for a DLC Ala Broken Steel if it changed the ending and added an extra mission or something.

Some of my Shepard's deserve this kind of ending.
Not the cowardly say the right things in public, then shoot you behind the back womanizer Shepard though. But it was fun to play him.

Yes. There needs to be an ending that's not so bleak for the galaxy (i.e. not destroying all the mass relays). I mean, what was the point of maxing out my military strength if I was just going to be faced with these 3 horrible ending decisions regardless of what I did? Sure, I cured the genophage. Too bad all the male krogans are stuck on Earth. Yeah, I reunited the geth and quarians. But their fleets are also stuck in the Sol system. All the refugees on the Citadel? Stuck in the Sol system.
If I got my military strength as high as I did (over 7000), I should have some chance of beating the Reapers without screwing over the galaxy. And with Shepard living and being able to get back to wherever his LI is located. I don't see how Bioware can get us that emotionally invested and then essentially kill the player at the last second (and I don't mean Shepard...I mean crushing the player's soul).

Barring a complete overhaul of an ending that doesn't seem to fly in the face of everything I've done, I'd accept just a happy ending.
I don't see that as being at all unreasonable compared to everything else. For most of the really tough decisions, we were able to get a hidden third option if we stuck to our morals or met certain conditions. I mean, throughout ME2, we know we're going on a SUICIDE MISSION, and that there will almost certainly be sacrifices. But guess what? If you meet all the right conditions, you come out of it unscathed. Perhaps somebody died the first time you played. That is to be expected. You should be rewarded with the ability to say, "Knowing how that turned out, I'm doing something else" and by doing that something else, the person lived. That is called massive replay value.

Yes, please. I'd also like a "reapers win, watch your squad die horribly" ending. Some sort of closure would be good.

....I am just flabbergasted by the ending. It's a great ending don't get me wrong...but its' the lack of options...that's the killer. If I want to blockbuster my game up and have a popcorn transfromers ending I should be able to. And if I opt for a more subtle mind twister lI very well should be able to....teary emotional ending: bring it on! But this, JUST this...awful because it goes against what we were lead to believe were were headed towards in the past games!

I absolutely would. I'd also would like an ending where Shep and his or her LI sacrifice themselves together.

That would prolly be the only time I'd accept a "the hero dies but saves the galaxy" end. One of the many things that I dislike about the ME3 end is that Shepard dies completely alone, without anyone of his friends and companions at his side. That's just another major kick in the balls.

It should be an option, yes, to have a happy-esque ending I suppose.
I would like an ending that actually wraps things up in a cohesive manner - with an epilogue like Baldur's Gate or Dragon Age. If Bioware has to destroy the relays to fit into some future plans (as I suspect) fine, but don't leave us wondering what happens to Wrex, Tali, Grunt, Liara, Garrus, EDI, Joker, the people on the Citadel, the Krogan, the Volus, blah blah blah - tell us what the frak happens to everyone.
I would like to see endings that tie directly and visibly with the army we've just raised. Raised enough war assets? Ah, now the Geth don't get decimated they get an assist from the Quarians.

Some of my Shepards would like that, sadly now my Shepards are streamlined bioware Shepards...
Others would want to be a reaper and destroy the Turians, Salarians, Asari, and whatever stands in the way of other humans, maybe later humanity... but who knows. When there is nothing left to destroy I mean.

So is Shepard.....ok that was a horrible joke.
But yeah, i want better endings in general, and atleast 1 where Sheppy gets to be with his/her LI, even if i have to play the hell out of multiplayer for weeks to get enough points.
