Who would like an ending where Shepard lives and can be with his/her LI?

Of course, the numerous plot holes and rising questions bothered me, it's just what I stated above, that wound cuts the deepest.
Not saying that Bioware should change the ending to only a happy fairy tale, but instead provide entirely different endings varying from everyone dies and the cycle continues to all rainbow and sunshine. Shepard doesn't always have to die and the mass relays don't always have to be destroyed. Bioware please fix this, for the moment I still have faith in you.

The world is doom and gloom everyday, where real people are unemployed, uninsured, uninspired and damn well frightened about their future. We play games to get away from the real world for a time, I need a happy ending...I want hope and love and forgiveness and redemption. I want to have that CHOICE...my actions in the first 2 games were leading to this, why did you take it from me...those that want to still blow themselves up can...just give me OPTION 4.

Everything else can slide from this to heroic Sacrifice to FUBAR the reapers win.
Seems like the writers forget that the true challenge is living... dying is easy but you have true depth when have characters the over these odds and continue to live... Like Real Life... its sucks at times but you don't just quit.. you keep on going.

I want the option for my Shepard to be with her LI.
I don't care if it takes max war resources. I don't care if I have to travel to the ends of the galaxy and defeat the cosmic pain monster. Just give me the option, give me the possibility.
This. 1000x

This topic is for those who would like this type of ending to at least be a possibility. This is not for those people who think it's unreasonable to expect it or think us supposed "Disney-ending, sunshine and rainbows" people are somehow less than they are because we hold a different view of OUR Shepards from theirs.
I'm curious to see just how many people think the same as I do.
Even though I"m in the 'like the ending' crowd, I would like an ending like that. Yeah.

What depresses and pisses me off the most about the endings was that no matter what your choices were through out the 3 games, Shepard will never be reunited with her/his LI and crew. Knowing that Shepard and Liara will never have that happy ending they fought so hard for.

I think it sucked more because the last conversation my FemShep and Garrus had was so touching, I really wanted to see them reunite in the end.
Like Cartims said, the world has enough doom and gloom. Is it so wrong for us to want the option to see a happier, more hopeful ending, especially when everything we've was towards such an ending?

Yes, this exactly.
After telling us we get a choice for an ending we're indeed left with slight variations of one ending. I agree with many other posters that it should be a possible ending beside a few others. I fought through all three games for a future with Shepard and Liara finally finding peace after all that strife, not the Swiss cheese that we all ended up with.
The problem (for me) is that even if they added endings due to this uproar I may still feel betrayed and hollow owing to the wounds already rendered. I can't imagine what DLC they could cook up in lieu of all of this. Not sure I'd even want to touch it.

Hoping that they release a DLC ( like they did for LotSB in ME2 ) , where if you took the option that suggests that Shepard is alive, you get to go on a quest to find your crew and LI.

Yeah, video games as therapy is actually on the cutting edge right now. It's believed that may be why a large number of people playh them from low economic backgrounds (to escape, sense of control, etc). II honestly can say that the many hours of Mass Effect to me did feel theraputic, even if it was depressing at times. I could see the series being a major part of these studies, but the ending...it's so miserable it would put anyone in a psychotic state.
