I've just read this thread

What if it was planned all along?
I'll explain myself:
Mass effect 3 was the most anticipated game in 2012 and I'll dare to say ever. This whole indoctrination theory makes sense actually. I would do a stand-up ovation to Bioware crew if their plan was to make the game INTENTIONALLY ends on a sour note so people would talk about it, a lot. And then, 2 weeks from now, they release a FREE DLC that puts the real ending back into the game.
That would be one of the most innovative marketing stunt I'd ever seen in my life and it would actually works.
I know this is ambitious to say this, but I tend to think that this would be SO awesome. But this had to be free, whatever else would simply make fans goes even angrier( even though they'd still buy it) because they would have intentionally cut a part of the game and charge it to their fans. That would be gross...
Anyway, if this ever happens to be true, I'll give Bioware and EA the greatest thnaks of all for having me so confused about a series that I learned to love with a passion.
P.S. I might live in a world with fairies and unicorns
What if...

I am mad with BioWare for that ending. I will be just as happy as I was up until I met Astroboy if they release a free DLC, slightly less happy if I have to pay. But I won't like them any more.

Well, just like the mass effect endings... They will win. I will buy further mass effect DLC, but the damage has been done. They've lost my support on SWtOR, and I will never pre-order a product of their making again.
Don't worry, it's bitter sweet. You know, for artistic purposes.

All this "It's a hallucination" talk is summed up in this video.

It would be too good to be true. If it happened, then it'd mean that BioWare is the greatest video games developer that has ever existed to this day, which I believed for quite some time until I played DA2. I love ME3... it's just the 1% at the end that blows it all up, generally speaking (to me anyway, like many others). If indeed they release some free "Real Endings" DLC... oh man... I'd be speechless in face of their brilliance.

But think about the marketing stunts they would have put on us...
I fully understand people that are mad after beating this game, because I count myself in.
Every details point to an hallucination.
Why would the Catalyst, master of Reapers, happens to be the exact same child that hunted your dreams all game long?
In the last dream sequence, you hear a voice over the radion that clearly stats NO ONE made it to the beacon. Why would they have missed Sheppard AND Anderson going in?You can't ignore the 2 most important person on Earth at this point
You appear in the crucible in your casual appearance with a Carnifex pistol. What the **** happened to my precious Black Widow V and my Armax Armox maximizing headshots damage?
Painting Anderson choice as the Renegade option and TIM one as the paragon one. Bull****...I was fully paragon and went with the destruction because that was what the entire series was all about.
I still hopes they'll come up with something that will blow everybody up. I believe in Bioware. They surely wouldn't have let down an entire project like this.
Keep believing...

Well, thanks to Origin, they know EXACTLY how much you're playing the game... I'd like to see the statistics for how many people have completely stopped playing 1 minute after the ending...

if this was the case and we got an ending. . . I would tell people to play it first without downloading the post ending patch so they can feel the evil genius that it would be.
what if indeed. . . .

It has to be this...
This end isn't the one we deserve, neither the one we need
