So, where do you stand?

I roleplay when it comes to dialogue choices, i.e. I make IC choices regardless of where I can sense it might lead me in terms of beating the game, but when it comes to build, loot, inventory, etc., I'm more on the powergamer side.  IOW, it's something like, I'll roleplay a character faithfully, but will min-max to make the character as good as it can be in terms of gameplay, GIVEN how the roleplay choices have constricted or shaped my options.

Both a Powergame and Roleplayer... But no people to roleplay with in this game since there is no multiplayer.. Yes you are a Grey Warden... but you are not really capable of actually roleplay it is an advanced adventure game with action and dialog in.

Warrior's don't really use the magic stat. But I always bump to 16-18 maybe 20. After all, he's a Grey Warden. He really should have a solid understanding of the various forms of magic he'll be fighting. And as the leader of a band of mighty heroes (and eventually armies) he needs to be cunning. I hate the idea of dump stats.

But maybe that's just me trying to make my character the "best" at everything. Far less practical than minmax powergaming and much more, uh, shallow.
