So when I started the ME3 demo awhile ago I realized that in every mass effect game near the beginning you always seem to wake up from being unconscious for different reasons. On top of that the camera angle and the animation of shepard waking up is very similar each time. Is there some sort of connection / does this have some kind of meaning or is it just a coincidence?
Similar start to all three games?

Every ME's intro also starts by introducing the main threat through a video feed somehow. ME1 did this with Ashley and Sovereign on Eden Prime, ME2 does it with the Collectors and Veetor, and ME3 does it with the Reapers on Earth.

EDIT: lol I'm just always paranoid that a game series will end with the "IT WAS ALL A DREAM" sort of deal that mario 2 ended with.
