I started a new non imported caharacter and I cheacked the war terminal and I have all the war assets so my EMS is at 5662, I'm not sure why I have the war assets since I've only played this character for 2 hours. Is this a glitch It has all the assets my other character has, I have also restarted my console and collected some war assets but it stays the same, so is this a glitch?

I am having a similar issue. I was about the 3rd priority mission and I decided that I didn't like what I did, so I erased my character and created a new one (that plus I like the beginning). When I started, I got to choose from the bonus powers that my other character unlocked. When I went into to change my weapon loadout, it showed weapons being equipped with the mods the other character had. The final thing is that the new character had the same war assets like yours does. As a result, when I tried to do certain side missions (Pillars of Strength to name one) it gives me the mission, but when you try to scan the planet where it's at, it does not show that anything is there (acts like you already have the item) but does not let you turn it in. I've deleted my toon again and same thing. I removed everything but the online pass from my xbox and redid it all again..same thing. I think that it has to to with EA's servers and the readiness multiplayer thing. I'm going to test it tonight, but I think that if you start a new character while not connected to EA's servers that it might not come through.

Hey gmr89, did you delete your first toon and/or use the same name for the new one?

What I did on mine, was I went into the options and told it not to auto connect to EA servers. So far it's treated the war assets as if it was a first playthrough. I'm not gonna connect it back to the servers until I'm caught up to where I was before just in case. You may want to give this a shot as a temporary work around.

i tried that it still does it, and I'm so tired of the start of the game I just want to play a nonimported character, it's stupid I can't scan for credits, upgrades, and I'm missing a lot of chances to increase reputation.

hmm. The only difference I can think of is that I completely deleted my other toon. For your two imported ones, I wouldn't recommend it. Hopefully Bioware will get a fix for it soon.

I'm going to try a nonimport again but instead i won't connect to xboxlive and see if that works, if then I guess multiplayer till they patch it.
edit: disconnecting from xbox live worked my my Ems is at 445 intead of almost 6000 as it should be.

I saved and exited the game then I reconnected to xbox live reloaded the save and it was still at 445, so its normal again, though I wonder what causes this annoying glitch.

Glad you got it fixed, I have no clue why, but I think that the EA servers and how they keep track of readiness % is part of the issue.
