just done with Rannoch, I have 3200 some EMS....you think I'll get to 4000/5000 by end game (I have not touched the sidequests that only open after Rannoch)
how am I doing?

Rannoch isn't too far from the ending.
Question is how much MP you have played. You will likely need more than 50% readiness.
I did absolutely everything I could, and I didn't get to 4000 EMS before I finally gave in and played some MP. I think 1 hour playing MP was all I played, and I was at 4600.
But I did get to save Shepard... sort of
