Had no Paragon option grayed out. Made TIM shoot himself, no daddy/future talk.

Nope, I got every Paragon dialogue choice and still got the abbreviated version. The entire middle section of that was genuinely cut from the game.

Nope, I had a maxed out Paragon bar and that dialogue was never present. Had TIM shoot himself, too.

Ha I was wrong. I must have heard the extra stuff before and just inserted that into my memory instead of the crap shortened one. Dam I really would have bet my life that longer one was in my ending. Well, I am gonna continue to pretend that longer one was in my ending because its so so SO much better.

What depresses and pisses me off the most about the endings was that no matter what your choices were through out the 3 games, Shepard will never be reunited with her/his LI and crew. Knowing that Shepard and Liara will never have that happy ending they fought so hard for.
Of course, the numerous plot holes and rising questions bothered me, it's just what I stated above, that wound cuts the deepest.

Not saying that Bioware should change the ending to only a happy fairy tale, but instead provide entirely different endings varying from everyone dies and the cycle continues to all rainbow and sunshine. Shepard doesn't always have to die and the mass relays don't always have to be destroyed. Bioware please fix this, for the moment I still have faith in you.

This is such a sad bit of dialogue. I'm hating that it was cut and actually glad that it was at the same time. I'm glad because hearing that would just give you even more false hope that you could get a happy ending for Shepard. Hearing this and knowing no matter what you do Shepard will not get that happy ending to settle down and have children just makes it almost unbearably sad to listen to.

Okay, I'm confused. Neither of my paragon/renegade options were available to me at the end. I had to renegade prompt myself to shoot TIM. is there a trick to this?

Why did they cut this, its perfect! It does give hope and a look into a possible happy future. Even if you may die it would give you something to live for. Also just makes the scene all the more touching. Still...want those bad endings gone!

It was obvious why it was cut, of course this also means they probably had a different endings in mind as well. When they ending got redone to the ones we got... this dialogue would have been too much and was thus cut.

I am starting to wonder what happened to the ending they had planned when this VA recording was done. Also the real reason it was changed. I suspect the change happened really late in the development and they had a tight budget combined with a lack of time to do so, probably even trouble getting all the VA to do their role in the new ending.

You notice the only dialogue in the ending is Shepard and the Guardian, and some scenes are even a little random (like why is Joker fleeing in a Relay Jump). There are way too many tell tale signs of a last minute piece mailed end job here. Like the game was way into post production when the ending got swapped.

How crazy would it be if bioware literally made 2 versions of ME3 and massively produced the wrong one... Asides from the ending which is a huge epic fail, that on top if it would have everyone just saying no words and shaking their heads
